Runes #2 showed us the 3 Runic Casting lesson

and I want to keep with that for this lesson, as there

are important factors you have to understand and

achieve before interpretation of the runes is

understood. What I will be talking about are the actual

'interpretations' you get from each Rune that has

been cast. As you are working with one of the oldest

forms of divination, you will also be connecting

with the same form of ancient energy as with

the new.

How do you 'connect' with these energies?

To give you an example, I will show you one way I have

of working with the Runes, whether I am using the actual

stones/wood or the Runic cards.

I first ask my client to either

A) place their left hand in the Runic sack and move it

about amongst the runes or

B) Ask them to shuffle the cards, and with both hands.

I ask them to clear their mind of everyday thoughts.

This is said with a soft and gentle tone to the voice

and there is a reason for that, which will become clear

a little later on.

With the Cards, I ask the client to cut the cards into

3 stacks and then place them back in which ever

manner they choose and to then hand the cards to

me with their left hand to my left hand.

You may wonder why I do this and I will explain

To the best of my capability.

From their body, flows their energy through

their left hand, as we are working with the

Spiritual aspect, which is connected with the

right side of the brain. By passing the cards

to my left hand, their energy is then 'connected' with

mine, which makes the task of interpreting easier.

When the client is using the Runic stones/wood,

I am able to connect when I place my left hand

into the sack to cast the Runes.

The reason for the soft and gentle tone is

my way of 'tuning' into my spirit so that the 'door'

is open for messages to be interpreted.

When you have practiced this, I want you to take

note, what FIRST impression/smell/thought/feeling

did you get in association with the Rune?

This is very important as it could be the message that

is needed to be heard. And always remember that even

though a Rune may have a descriptive name: eg

Othila - Separation

It does not necessarily mean that a separation is

about to occur or if in the reverse, a joining is

coming. It can also be interpreted as a person

that has lived 2 lives, one that the person wants people

to see and the real person, for themself.

If I cast 'Othila', for example, I would see the word

"False" flash in my mind followed by a picture of a

mask, which is a confirmation signal that tells me the

ancients are telling me the person is living a false

life.

Now remember, this is example only.

This lessons covers these aspects and I would like
