I thought I would start off with the basic Runic layout.

I have had many people ask me how I interpret the Runes

and the messages I receive. I use the Runes as my "Tool"

of Craft when I do a reading for someone, as a guide for

me to interpret the messages, smells, feelings & visions

I get whilst handling the Runes.

To start you off, remember the more you handle your Runes

and start a connection with you and them, the easier it

will become to interpret their messages etc.

So the first basic Runic layout is a single Rune which

YOU use as a guide to any questions, actions, theories

etc you may have and wish to have either confirmed or

answered.

To do this, firstly have your Runes readily available in

their sack. Place your hand inside the sack, letting

the Runes drift over your palm and fingers. Whilst you

are doing this, picture the question, confirmation etc

you wish to have the Runes answer and keep

it fixed firmly in your mind whilst you move your hand

around the Runes. You will find that after a period of

time, ONE Rune will stick in your hand. You will feel

this and then draw it out.

For example....

I had to know whether my business partner was going to be

agreeable to expanding the business further and with

this thought fixed firmly in my mind, I placed my

hand in the Rune sack and after a period of time,

I drew the Rune Teiwaz (Spiritual Warrior) in an

upright position

This is a good indication that my partner would be

agreeable if I approached the situation with a

steady and firm spirit and not let my excitement

& enthusiasm, get the better of me, as Teiwaz

always means a battle within yourself. I tend to

get over-eager with new and exciting things and

allow certain situations to get out control. Therefore

the Runes were warning me to stay calm and IN

control when approaching my partner.

Try this for the next week and write

down each Runic casting you do for yourself

and the outcomes, if any...
