OPP phone lines were jammed yesterday as startled residents reported seeing one Mike McGuire gallivanting all over town.
"We just don't understand. He's supposed to be in France for the year," commented rookie officer Lindsay Newman.
The search continues today as many residents just can't believe that it's really him.
"Julianna and I drove him to the airport. I know he's gone," said a tearful Lisa Turriff upon hearing the news.
Only one person, Michael T. Smith, was able to capture this elusive character on film. Although many experts are calling this an elaborate hoax of massive proportions, Smith swears they are real.
"I know what I saw. Mike McGuire was here and I have the photographic evidence. What more do you need!"
Indeed, what more DO we need?
