Eternity
by Julian

Death;
    the unstoppable force, the eternal-
    the thing which ends all yet lasts forever,
    and consumes all yet consists of nothing.

Life;
    the immovable object, the never-ending-
    the thing which always begins anew yet lasts not long,
    and consists of everything yet consumes nothing.

Time;
    the ultimate force, the everlasting-
    the object which begins all and never ends,
    which ends all and never starts,
    which consumes all, consists of everything,
    and yet is nothing.

Time;
    the ageless object, the nonexistent-
    the unstoppable, immovable shadow
    which is always coming, always going,
    yet is never here to see, is nothing,
    and yet is everything.

Eternity;
    the absolute, the total, the whole-
    the life, the death, the time-
    all rolled into one, all separate, all together,
    the emptiness, the fullness,
    everything, nothing, and all that remains forever after.
