Hunger

I believe I wrote this one in my car one day.  I was just sitting there trying to listen to the radio and do some homework that was due within the hour (you can see where my priorities lie) but I kept seeing all these girls walking by going wherever they were going.  This was probably during the reading of Frankenstein that I came up with this one.  The obsessiveness is supposed to come through in the inarticulation of the speaker, the singularity of their purpose obvious from the repition of words and phrases.  I suppose this one follows closely from Lust, though this one is perhaps more focused and maniacal than just vindictive and reactionary.  I imagine it would be somewhat akin to the thought process of someone without much in the way of mental faculties who becomes obsessed with (or alternatively, in love with?) another person but lacks the ability to process this emotion in any other way except need, despite hints that it might be implicitly wrong.  In which case, a person without much in the way of mental faculties could represent a host of different objectives, ranging fromly animalistic, to perhaps those affected by mental illness, etc.  But that's that.
