In Mauyor I stopped as it was about rain. I was greeted right away by a pretty lady Janet. I began telling my story when another person joined in. His name is John Harkins he had his son with him and he donated $50 I am collecting money for charity for "Farmhand" . We later met and had a few beers. I was in the local newspaper but I lost the clipping. Nice friendly place mostly tourist.
While I was roaming around in the town I met a guy with a vintage Alvis car. I introduced myself and explained what I was doing. He was interested in seeing the trike for himself and gave me a lift on the side of the car there was no room as he had his wife with him. So there I am hanging on to this vintage car going through town. Fortunaetly there were no police around. |
