| The Yellow Mantis has grown as you will have notice from the previous pictures. The growth is to accommadate the engine a 1.6 dohc turo capri engine. After carefull thought I decided to replace the old VW beetle engine for something more modern. I had a lot of problems putting the engine into the trike a garage for one to rebuild the Yellow Mantis trike the other problems are parts to convert the engine to the gearbox. The engine runs good after changing the timing belt. The computer I had to buy because I could not find the right computer to run the engine. I now have an after market computer which controls the engine management system. It is a learning curve I can not afford to learn in time. My visa runs out in August 2003 and I need more money to get the engine running properly. |
