Lady Juliana Stafford is the second
eldest daughter of a sixteenth century Scottish fabric merchant.
After having produced seven daughters and only one son, Papa came
across the idea to use us, his daughters, to secure his trade
routes. So I was wed to an Englishman and my other sisters were
wed to an Italian, a Welshman...you get the picture.
I've been involved in the SCA for over thirteen years, having spent the
majority of that time residing in the Royal Forest of Rusted Woodlands
in the Kingdom of the East. I currently reside in the newly
forming Canton of Angel's Keep in the Barony of Delftwood in the
Kingdom of AEthelmearc.
During my time in Rusted Woodlands I served as Chronicler for over 12
years, Chatelaine for a year and Web Mistress for six months. I
also served the East Kingdom as a Scribe. I was awarded a
Mauche for my talents in Calligraphy and Illumination, a Silver
Crescent for my scribal work and service as a shire officer and I
was awarded arms for my service to the Royal Forest of Rusted Woodlands
as Chronicler.
