This section is all about awareness, this is a very important aspect of self protection. You must be able to know your surroundings and how to react if something may happen to threaten your safety.
In this section you will learn the zones of awareness I employ in everyday life for myself, these aspects are not just for protection, but for living life to the fullest.
1. First off the 1st zone of awareness is to basically dont walk around or live your life not knowing your basic surroundings, ie : dont just walk around in a daydream, try to be aware of whats around you, your surroundings, the ground (terrain), people around you, the light, the weather, the ground surface, the area you are in, a possible escape route.
But please dont walk around in a state of paranoia, just be aware is all I am saying...
And you will also start to notice other things you have never really seen before as well, like the colour of the sky, the clarity of water, etc....
2. Secondly the next zone of awareness is to be aware of a possible conflict with somebody or something, by this I mean if say you are walking to your car in the dark and you have noticed it is dark and there are some people in the carpark as well, dont just walk along thinking all is well, size up those people, try to see what their possible intentions are, look for a possible escape route if necessary.
Again dont walk around in a state of paranoia, just be aware.
This can also apply in many other situations like driving your car in a tense situation, a possibility of hurting yourself in an cccident, an animal attacking you etc...be aware of escape opportunities or simply avoiding danger opportunites.
3. The third awareness zone is to know when to react and how to react if something actually does happen, you need to know this zone before you get into a conflict, this zoone is your stay or run zone !

For example again if you are back in that carpark at nightime and some really big nasty looking guys start to approach you, what do you do ?....ok, first look for an escape route- make sure the escape is an easy one for your abilities, one that will lead you near other public places, secondly know when it is too late to escape- know your area and terrain in case you cant run and have to stay and fight....know when things have gotten to the point of no escape and you have to go into action......the next zone explains this in more detail.
4. The last zone is when you have to stay and fight,  you must know when there is no turning back.
First off have an area surrounding yourself which I call my personal zone, it is approximately 6-10 feet in diameter, from outside that zone most people will not be able to hurt you, now you must say loudly and with purpose and force (really mean it) : "STOP RIGHT THERE !, WHAT DO YOU WANT ?!" now, if your possible attacker does not stop you know their intentions are not good. If someone steps inside your personal zone then you must take action IMMEDIATELY ! , do not hesitate because hesitation will make you lose....you should already have adrenaline running through your body giving you confidence, you should know what to do when they get close enough...now YOU MUST DO IT,  dont wait for them to hit or grab you....strike first, they did not stop when you asked, therefore they want to hurt you....hurt them first !!!

Hesitation wil lead to losing.
