In 2001, Ulysses had a major overhaul. Below is a list of everything that was done to make her look like new.

 

Hull
Above the waterline, a whole new Sikkens Hi-Wave system was applied; colour: Flag Blue.
Below the waterline we used Jotun Seamate HB 99; selected as the best antifouling for the Caribbean.

Deck
-The deck got a new Sikkens Hi-Wave system as well; colour: White (because that is the only colour which allows you to walk barefoot on deck in the Caribbean). 
-The walking areas are non-skid.
-A new pulpit was mounted

All wood work outside was removed and replaced with new teak: the  rub-  and cap rail, the teak deck in the cockpit and around it, the main hatch, the companion way, cockpit table and all hand rails. 
The cockpit table, hatch and the handrails are varnished; the other teak is impregnated.


Electricity
-6 AC Delco Voyager 105Ah batteries
-Newmar Phase Three battery charger (PT-24-35CE)
-70 Amp. battery isolator

Gas
-2 gas bottles
-Flexible hoses
-Gas detector in bilge

Refrigeration
-A 220 V system was build in to operate on shore power
-A new compressor was mounted on the main engine

Sails and rigging
-All weather genua made by Doyle (.130%; 46 sq.m.)
-All halyards
-Furling line
-Topping lifts


Upholstery

Exterior
-Stackpack for the main sail (Sunbrella)
-Stackpack for the mizzen sail (Sunbrella)
-Cover for the working jib on the stay (Sunbrella)
-Awning for the cockpit area; can be used during sailing (Sunbrella)
-Awning for the area in between the two masts (can be connected to the cockpit one) (Sunbrella)
-All cushions for the seating areas in the cockpit (Sunbrella, dark blue).		 stagpack

 -Mattress in the owner's cabin

information at interior helmsman position).
Raytheon Autohelm Tridata ST 60 (depth, speed, log, water temperature).
Raytheon Autohelm Tridata ST 60 repeater (used in cockpit to repeat the GPS data).
