More Details

Electricity

Standard voltage on board is 24 V.
There is a 12 V converter to supply 12 V to certain instruments, the radio and a cigarette lighter outlet.
A 24 V to 220 V inverter (1000W) is also installed.
Ulysses has six batteries, divided in three banks, each consisting of two 105 Ah AC Delco Voyager batteries (24 Volt system). One bank is exclusively used for the engine; the other two are for general use and can be switched off or on with a main battery switch (1, 2, both or none).
Batteries are charged the engine alternator, or by a Newmar Phase Three battery charger when connected to the shore power (220V).
A small Suzuki generator  (SE 500) is also available.

Fuel
The stainless steel tank holds approximately 500 ltrs of diesel and
is situated underneath the cockpit floor. There are 3 containers
available for another 150 ltrs.

Gas
There are two gas bottles stored in a self-draining locker, with access from the side deck

Water
There are three stainless steel water tanks; two are fitted on the port and starboard side of the engine and one is situated in the centre of the ship. The total capacity is about 1150 liters.
Water is heated either by the engine
or by the shore power system.
Hot and cold water are piped to both heads (sink and shower) and the galley by an electric pressure unit.

Climate Control
There is a Webasto diesel oil cabin heater, with outlets in all cabins.
Fans are mounted in the galley, the owner's cabin and the fore cabin.

Steering

Steering is possible outside in the cockpit
(36" wheel) and inside in the deck saloon
(20" wheel).
Morse controls and navigational instruments
are operable in both locations.
A Cetrek autopilot is mounted below deck,
with controls near the outside and interior
steering position.
Galley
The galley is a secure U-shape arrangement, midships on the port side.
It has a full size four burner stove with an oven.
Furthermore a built in fridge and a separate freezer compartment. The cooling power is obtained from a 24 V  compressor, driven by the main engine, or via a separate 220 V compressor when  shore power (220 V) is available.
The sink has cold and hot water supply and also a "salt water" faucet operated by a foot pump.
