| :One Year Later: Joey was running around his house like a chicken without a head. "Joe relax will ya. Your making me nervous." Joey stopped and look over at his friend. "Sorry Lance, but I'm just so nervous about tonight and just want everything to go perfect!" "Relax ok, everything will go great. Trust me! JC loves you and nothing is going to change that!" "Ya but tonight might." "Geez Joey come on now. You two have been dating for a year tonight so stop acting like a baby and be a man." "That's easy for you to say. Your not going to be asking someone to spend the rest of their lives with you tonight now are you!" "Your right I'm not and I know you are. But you are also asking someone that loves you and is willing to spend his life with you and only you." Joey sighs "I hope your right Lance I really do." :That evening: Joey and JC sat in the dinning room eat their dinner for two. The mood was perfect. Candles lit everywhere and soft music playing in the background. "I can't believe you did all of this for me Josh. You really did not have to." "Well it was not that bad, really. Justin helped me set things up and Lynn talked me through the cooking." "Its really good. You got some hidden talents Josh." "I guess. So you want you gift now?" "You know you did not have to get me anything." "Ya but I wanted to." JC hands Joey a small box. "Its nothing big but I thought you may like it." Joey looks up and JC and smiles. He unwraps the paper and opens the box. Inside is white gold bracelet with the superman symbol engraved in demands. "O my god Josh I love it!" "Really, turn it over." On the back it reads "You're my superman! -Josh" Joey looks up and JC with tears in his eyes. "I love it so much Josh. I really do!" "I know its been a hard year Joe but I want you to know that I love you and I want no one else but you." With that Joey gets and kisses JC. "I love you so mush Josh and I would do anything to make you happy. OK, now its time for your gift." Joey kneels on one knee in front of JC. "Josh this past year has been the best in my life. I can't remember my life before you entered it. I love you with all my heart that sometimes I wonder if I'm want you want. But when I look at you into your eyes all I see is forever and that's what I want Josh. Forever as cheesy at is sounds I want my forever to be with you. I know that we can't have a real wedding that we can tell the whole world about but I do know that I want to spend the rest for my life with you. So I guess what I'm trying to say is Josh will you spend the rest of your life with me?" Joey takes out a small box from is pocket and hands it to JC. JC takes the box and opens it, inside is a simple white gold band and on the inside of it has "JSC & JAF FOREVER" engraved. JC looks at Joey and then back at the band trying to presses what Joey just said. Once again JC looks at Joey but time looks into his eyes. "Yes, o god yes Joey!" Joey takes the ring from JC's hand and places it on his ring figure and shows JC the same one that he has on his hand. Their lips meet and you can hear fireworks in the background. This kiss was like no other they shared before. This one promised forever, promised love and eternal happiness. The love that they made that night promised forever. :The next morning: JC woke up curled into Joey's side. He had his hand on Joeys chest. JC could not help but look at the ring that Joey get him the night before. He looked up at Joey and wonder how he became so lucky to find someone like Joey. JC knew that as long as he was with Joey he would never have to fight the pain alone anymore. JC kiss Joey once more before going back to sleep dreaming about their future together. THE END |
