You Don't Want To Know
Justin was in a bad mood.  Ok, it was way more than a bad mood.  Hed been in this mood as the rest of the guys called it for a few weeks.  And they couldnt figure out why.

They couldnt imagine what hed pout about all this time.

Each of them tried to approach them in their own way, offering comfort, humor, and whatever else they could think up.

But nothing worked.  And they were all sick of this pissy Justin.

This needed to stop.

Later, they would all wonder who came up with the brilliant idea of going miniature golfing together, with Justin, moody as ever.  Then Joey would blush and say hed thought it was a good idea.  Two of them would roll their eyes in response, blaming Joey for what the results of the trip had been, and two would secretly thank him.

It had been hard enough for them to convince Justin to come with them, and none of them really knew why they wanted him there.  Well, one secretly did, but hed never admit that Justins pouty face was *such* a turn-on to him.

When theyd finally gotten him to agree, theyd piled into the van, and taken off to the nearest minigolf course.  When they got there, Joey and Justin fought over what color ball they got before JC nudged Joey, giving him a look that said let it go and Joey did.

They started off, choosing the harder of the two courses available.  Luckily there werent hardly any people there.  That wouldve ruined their night.  They didnt need another lawsuit because Justin was in a bad mood.

They paired up, realizing that doing that would be more fun, and take a little less time.  Three of them went ahead, while the other two waited for their turn.

Justin sat waiting, wondering why theyd put him with Chris.  Well, he knew why theyd done it, he was just a little angry with them for it.  Everyone in the group knew that Chris was the only one who could really get through to Justin.  Although hed already tried, he hadnt tried his hardest; knowing Justin would tell them what was wrong when he was ready.  Not that Chris wouldnt test him a little, push him to let Chris into what was going on in his head.

When Joey, JC and Lance had finished their turn on the first hole, Chris motioned for Justin to go first.

Justin still hadnt said a word.  He stepped forward, put the blue ball which hed fought with Joey for down and hit it without even aiming.  He looked up just in time to see it go into the hole.

And then he smiled.  The first true smile Chris had seen in weeks.  And he couldnt take his eyes off of Justin.  Chris had been secretly lusting for Justin for quite some time now, but he didnt want to ruin his friendship with Justin by telling him his secret, in case Justin had no feelings to return.  So he just went on like always, trying to follow Justins example of a hole-in-one, but failing miserably.

Chris had told the group about six months ago that he was gay.  He was obviously nervous when he did it, but it had turned out ok.  Lance had taken a little longer than the others to get used to the idea, shying away from Chris hugs, but he came around in the end and told Chris he didnt mind.

So, at least the group knew that he was gay.  But being in love with his best friend wouldnt go over so well with the group, or thats what he thought at least.  He had no idea how theyd react, and he wished he knew theyd be fine with it so he could just tell them.  And he wished that Justin would feel the same.

'But you cant get everything you wish for,' hed told himself a million times.

Justin was a very touchy feely kind of person, and Chris felt dirty sometimes for appreciating Justins touches more than he should.  Justin was 9 years younger than him for Gods sakes.  That was against every boundary in his mind, but it didnt stop him from lusting after his best friend.

He couldnt help it Justin was just so lustable.  He laughed at himself for making up such a stupid word, but he couldnt think of any other way to describe Justin.  Of course, he loved everything about Justin.  He didnt just want to fuck him, he wouldnt be satisfied with that.  He wanted more.  He wanted to be with Justin in every way possible.

But the problem was that it was impossible.  They were now on the ninth hole and the only words Justin had uttered were either, yes when hed made a good shot or your turn when Chris had been spacing out again.

Chris had tried everything under the sun to make Justin happy.  Hed tried joking around, but that didnt work, since Chris knew his jokes were lame, and Justin wasnt in the mood for joking.

Chris couldnt help wondering what the hell Justin was in the mood for.

The next hole was in a cave with a little waterfall.  It was really beautiful, Chris noted as they stepped into it.

Chris was now keeping score, since Justin had gotten bored of that around the fourth hole, and Justin was arguing with him about the score.

God, Justin, why are you so bitchy? Chris exclaimed, not caring who heard him.

Leave me alone! Justin yelled back, shooting a glare at Chris.

No, tell me what the hell is wrong with you and do it now, Chris demanded.

No, you'll never talk to me again, Justin said, looking down at his feet.

Well, now were getting somewhere, Chris thought, knowing that soon Justin would crack and tell him everything.

Sure, I will.  Try me, Chris reasoned.

I I cant, Justin answered, blushing now.

Yeah, you can.  Its ok.  Now tell me whats wrong, Chris pushed.

Um, well, you see, Justin stuttered, biting his lip.

Chris moved closer, not being able to resist the temptation any longer.  He had to do it.  He reached Justins side quickly and leaned forward, capturing Justins lips with his own.  The kiss didnt last long.  It was simple, but it showed Chris true feelings.

Chris backed away slowly, suddenly afraid to look at Justin.  Chris wasnt afraid of many things, but heights and rejection were what he feared most.  He didnt know what hed do if Justin were to reject him.

Chris? Justin spoke softly, trying to get Chris to look at him.

Uh, yeah? Chris answered, wanting to crawl into a hole in the ground.

How did you know? Justin asked shyly.

Know what? Chris wondered aloud, looking at Justin for the first time since hed kissed him.

What I wanted, Justin stated simply.

You wanted that? Chris replied, trying not to get excited.

Yeah, Justin admitted, smiling up at Chris.

Wow, how long? Chris questioned.

A few weeks, Justin answered.

So thats why youve been moody? Chris concluded, putting together all the pieces.

Yeah, Justin said, thanks, Chris.  I never wouldve had the guts to tell you.  I was just sulking.

No need to thank me, Chris responded.  He moved closer to Justin again, wondering how Justin could want him.  But he put that thought in the back of his mind as he leaned in to kiss Justin again.  This kiss was filled with warmth, love, and desire.  Chris pulled away and smiled.

Joey, JC, and Lance were waiting for them when Justin and Chris finished playing.  Their jaw dropped in shock as they saw Chris and Justin laughing over something, leaning into each other for support.  They couldnt help but wonder what Chris had done to make Justin happy again.  As Chris was about to walk past, Lance grabbed his arm.

What the hell did you do to him? he asked.

You dont want to know, he replied, with a sly grin, directing a wink in Justins direction before jogging back to the van.

What the - ? JC said, confused.

I dont know I dont think I want to know.  Well just let Chris deal with Justin from now on, Joey answered.

Yeah, Lance replied, smiling at the Justin and Chris retreating forms.
