With All Of My Heart
JC sighed and thought that perhaps renting a car from a dealership called "Shifty Larry's" wasn't such a good idea after all. The guys were on a break from touring, and when Lance had asked JC to visit a few of the southern most points of Florida with him, he had jumped at the chance. However, now that the car had broken down and a thunderstorm had moved in, he wasn't so sure he was having fun anymore.

JC shifted the newspaper over his head slightly, not wanting the pelting rain to get his head wet. Lance was jogging beside him, holding a small umbrella over his head. There had only been one in the rental car, and it was barely big enough to cover one of them. JC had found it under his seat and immediately given it to Lance.

A loud clap of thunder shook the sky, and JC reluctantly pulled his eyes away from Lance and to the old barn that they were now only a few yards away from. Luckily, JC had noticed it as he drove down the highway. He let the soaked newspaper fall to the ground as he pulled the large barn door open, motioning for Lance to hurry inside. He followed quickly and shut the door behind them. He stood beside Lance, the two of them checking out the place they would most likely be spending the night in.

There was long corridor going down the middle of it, and five or six stalls on each side. It looked more like a stable than a barn, but at the moment they weren't picky. Lance immediately went to check out the animals in the stalls, while JC took the opportunity to look around some more. On the left was a small worker's bench, covered in tools and grease from the small carburetor that sat on top. To the right was a ladder leading up to a small upper level, and a large pile of hay sat below it.

"Jace! JC, come here!"

JC rubbed his hands together and blew on them, trying to create some sort of heat in his body as he headed down the hallway to Lance. He smiled at the look of excitement on the younger man's face and chuckled when the blonde started bouncing in place.

"Isn't it beautiful JC?" he asked, awe in his voice and his eyes wide with
interest.

"Yes, it sure is," whispered JC softly, his eyes never leaving Lance's face.

"I mean, have you ever seen a more perfect horse than this one?"

JC was confused. "Horse?" He turned his head and jumped ten feet in the air when his face was mere inches away from a set of slobbery lips and large teeth. Lance laughed and JC blushed, glaring at the creature. Stepping behind Lance, JC looked over the horse. It actually was very beautiful. It was large with tan fur and a blonde mane, a few wisps of hair falling over its big brown eyes. JC watched in amusement as Lance talked baby talk to it.

"Hey now, sweetie. You're a cutie, ain'tcha?" Lance cooed, stroking the
animals nose with loving strokes. "I wish I had a pet like you..."

JC grinned and opened his mouth to make a smart-ass comment when a loud boom of thunder stopped him. Flashes of lightening filled the sky and the barn, making everything inside illuminate. JC's breath caught in his throat as he looked over Lance. His hair was wet and sticking slightly to his forehead, his shirt clung tightly to his chest, and his rain-soaked jeans hung down further than usual on his hips. He was absolutely beautiful, and JC was mesmerized. Looking up, JC jumped slightly when his eyes met vivid green ones.

Lance smiled, the horse forgotten as he walked slowly up to JC. His breathing was slightly hitched, and his eyes were an unusual shade of dark green. "Do ya see somethin' ya like, Jace?" he whispered, running his lips over JC's wet cheek, but not actually kissing him.

JC swallowed and nodded, his vocal cords momentarily stunned at how much thicker Lance's accent was at the moment. His pants were soaked from the rain, and were growing tighter by the moment. His eyes were glued to Lance's pink lips, and in the dark he couldn't see how they shook.

Lance was nervous, but for once in his life he was going to follow his heart. He could feel JC's warm breath on his face seconds before their lips met. They moved slowly, tasting each other for the first time and drawing out the moment. Lance felt his feet moving as he kissed JC, but he kept his eyes closed. They both broke apart when the back of Lance's feet hit the haystack. He opened his eyes and looked at JC's. He could tell the other man was just as nervous as he was, and that made him feel slightly better.

"Is this okay?" JC whispered, not wanting to ruin the moment with heavy words.

At Lance's nod, JC brought their lips together again as he lowered them both to the bed of hay. Hands shook with fear and excitement as they explored each other's body. Wet, clingy clothes were carefully discarded as naked flesh touched for the first time. They kissed and touched and stroked, wishing the night could last forever. JC entered Lance carefully and slowly, wanting to ease the pain as much as possible since they weren't prepared. Moans, gasps, kisses and touches were shared as the two men moved together in the moonlight.

JC came first, his voice crying out Lance's name in time with a clap of
thunder. Lance came soon after, his body arching against JC as the rain
continued to pour outside. They collapsed against each other, limbs twisting together and breaths mingling as one as they fell asleep.

The next morning, JC felt a layer of warmth on his face, and he could see the sunlight shining brightly through his eyelids. They fluttered open softly, and his eyes focused on a set of bright green ones. He smiled at Lance and kissed the younger man's nose, his body still tingling from the events of last night.

"How do you feel?" whispered Lance.

JC yawned and took a deep breath, his nostrils filling with the sweet smell of the air after a thunderstorm. He smiled at Lance and pressed their foreheads together.

"I feel wonderful," he whispered back.

Lance's smile was brighter than the sunlight pouring through a window above their heads, and it warmed JC's heart more than he thought possible.

"I love you Josh."

JC grinned and wrapped his long arms around Lance's naked body. He picked a few pieces of straw out of their hair and settled back down with a happy sigh.

"I love you too," he said softly, lacing their fingers together and kissing
Lance's knuckles.

"Forever?" asked Lance with a smile.

JC locked his eyes with Lance and smiled. "Even when there is no more rain in the sky, I will love you with all of my heart."
