| Part 3 - Different, But Good |
| Justin followed Lance slowly out of Chris room. Neither one knew where to go from there. They hadnt really made it clear that they wanted each other, theyd just said theyd rather kiss one another than another guy in the group. Lance was the first to speak, you want to come to my room to talk? Sure, Justin answered, fidgeting nervously. Ok, Lance said, leading the way to his room. He opened the door quickly, and held it open for Justin. Then he asked, do you want something to drink? You got any Coke? Justin said, moving to the couch and waiting for Lance to come back with his drink. Yeah, hold on a sec, Lance said from the kitchen. Justin sat down, wondering curiously what would happen after they talked. Here you go, Lance said, handing Justin his Coke and sipping his Sprite. Thanks, Justin replied, opening it and taking a drink. So Lance started. Yeah Justin responded, not knowing what to say. Um, weve established that we want to kiss each other more than the other guys. But do you actually want to kiss me? Lance asked, starting the conversation. Yeah, I do. This past week Ive been feeling a little different towards you, Justin admitted, blushing. What about you? Do you actually want to kiss me? Yes, but Ive been feeling this way a little longer, Lance told Justin. How long? Justin asked curiously. A few months, Lance answered, refusing to look into Justins eyes. Wow, why didnt you tell me? Justin asked. Because I was scared of how youd react. My parents didnt react well to my being gay, so I was afraid to tell you guys, Lance admitted. Oh, Im so sorry you felt that way. You know I we would always accept you Lance, Justin told him. Yeah, but that doesnt make me less of a chicken, Lance replied. What matters is that I know now, and that just makes me feel stronger about you, knowing that you were feeling the same way about me, Justin said, looking directly at Lance now. He wasnt too worried anymore, now that he knew Lance felt something towards him. He wanted to find out more. How long have you known you are gay? Justin asked. Well, just a few months. I realized it when I started having feelings for you. Oh, was Justins only reply. Are you gay? Lance asked softly. Im not sure yet. I might be bi. Im certainly not straight because of the feelings Ive been having, thats all that I know, Justin answered, smiling. Ok, Lance replied, so were both attracted to each other. Yeah, Justin responded, and then there was silence. He broke the silence a few minutes later by saying, have you ever well, been with a guy before? Um, no I havent *been* with a guy. But Ive kissed a guy before. What about you? Lance asked. I havent done anything with a guy before. Is it different kissing a guy? Justin asked, his curiosity showing. Ill let you determine that, Lance answered, and after seeing the confused look on Justins face, he leaned in to give Justin a short, sweet kiss. When Justin recovered from the shock of what Lance had just done, he smiled and said, yeah, it is different, but a good kind of different. Maybe we should try again, just to make sure. His eyes were sparkling. He leaned forward, initiating the kiss this time, and covered Lances lips with his. Mmm, Lance said after Justin pulled away. Yeah, its definitely a good different, Justin told Lance, laughing. Lance laughed too, thinking about how cute Justin looked right then. |
