| With trembling fingers Josh took the phone from Chris's hands, "H-hello?" "Hey baby brother..." Brian said. "Hi Brian." Josh replied, he didn't think he'd ever been this nervous, "How are you?" "I'm fine," Brian answered, "So Chris tells me you didn't know I was your brother until today, is that true?" "Yes, I have only known for about an hour." Brian was silent for a while, "I would like to apologize for the way me and Kevin treated you guys in the beginning, half of it was because we were pissed at Lou and the other half was because you never said anything, I apologize." "It's fine, I probably would of done the same in your position." "How about we meet over coffee or something and talk? If you want of course, no pressure." Josh bit his lip thinking, "I-I think it would be a good idea, I will admit it will be weird and a bit arkward but I would like to get to know you I guess." Brian smiled, "Same here. I don't really want to learn about my brother from the internet, y'know?" Josh giggled, "Yeah. When do you want to meet?" Brian bit his lip, "Well I'm home in Kentucky at the moment, where are you?" "I'm in Mississippi with the rest of the guys." "Well we could come over..." Brian began before Josh cut him off. "Who's we?" "Just me and Kevin if you want him, he kinda feels guilty at the minute and would really like to get to know his cousin." Josh took a deep breath, "Yeah I will meet you two...Brian?" "Yes?" Josh swallowed, "Is it alright if it's just you two, I don't think I'm ready to meet everyone else yet." Brian smiled, "Yeah that's fine, I won't tell mama until you want me to." "Is, is she there?" Josh asked curiously and a little fearfully. "She's out with Kev's mom." Josh sighed in relief and a little dissapointed, "Ok. When do you want to meet?" "How about at the weekend? You have time to adjust to this news and me and Kevin can get a flight or rent a car." "That's fine, you don't mind if I bring the guys? Or 2 of them at least?" "No. I guess you need some support 'cause it might seem like Kev and I are ganging up on you." "Well yes, no, sort of. I'll talk to you later?" Brian laughed, "Sure, I'll call you...oh and Josh?" "Yes?" Brian smiled, "Happy birthday for yesterday, from me and Kevin." Josh smiled, "Thank you. Goodbye Brian." "Goodbye Josh." Brian said before he hung up. "You okay baby?" Lance asked concerned. "Yeah. I am going to meet Brian and...Kevin this weekend." "Where? Are you going to Kentucky?" Chris asked. Josh shook his head, "No there coming here." Lance wrapped his arms around Josh, "Do you want me there?" Josh looked at Lance with hopeful eyes, "Yes, I'm gonna need you there." Lance smiled and held Josh tighter caressing his back, "Then I will be there." Josh wrapped his own arms around Lance and looked up at Justin with pleading eyes. Justin smiled, "Before you ask, of course I will be there." Josh looked at Chris, "Chris did you call Brian?" Chris smiled at Josh, "No. I called Howie," Chris felt Joey tense beside him and he kissed his head, "Sssh sweetie, it's ok." "What's wrong Joe? You don't like Howie?" Justin asked. Joey looked up pain in his eyes, "No it's not that it's just..." Chris hugged Joey tightly to him, "Howie is my ex." Justin, Josh and Lance looked at Chris in shock. "When were you with Howie?" Josh asked. Chris fidgeted nervously, "You guys know I went to college with him," Chris rolled his eyes and shook his head, "Who am I kidding every teenie knows I went to college with him." "Yeah we know." Lance said trying to get Chris to the point. "Well I had a...crush on him," Chris unconsciouly squeezed Joey's hand, "And we sort of dated on-and-off for a while then he was with Backstreet Boys and I met Joey while working at Universal." "Is that it?" Justin asked knowing it wasn't. Chris shook his head, "No, I had fallen in love with Joey at Universal and was over the moon when me and Jc spotted him at 'Pleasure Island' and asked him to join the band. I thought that me and Joey had no chance together so I...dated guys and girls then met Howie again and the passion was still there so we began dating again and we got serious and I," Chris took a deep breath, "I fell in love with him." Joey closed his eyes as tears threatened to fall, the one person he was jealous of was Howie Dorough, Chris's first male love. "Why did you never tell us?" Justin asked. Chris looked at them all, "It's not like any of us ever came out and said we were bi." "So how long were you two together?" Josh asked. "About 2, 3 years on-and-off, it was hard but we made it work then we broke up and I was heartbroken and I moped and cried for a while and then I started dating Dani." "You are still friends with Howie?" Josh asked cautiously. "Yeah, he is a great friend and I can't throw that all away because we were lovers." Joey wrapped his arms around Chris and held him tight never wanting to let go, "I love you Chris, so much." Chris held on tight breathing in Joey's scent, "I love you too Joey, with all my heart." Lance slipped his arm around Josh's waist, feeling for Joey he knew how much it hurt to see your love with somebody else. "How did you know Joey? Did Chris tell you?" Justin asked. Joey shook his head a tear slipping from his eye, "No I, I saw them together." Lance gasped, "When?" Joey closed his eyes, "It was after we did that basketball match y'know BSB v NSYNC, I was going to ask Chris if he wanted to go out somewhere when I opened the door I saw him and Howie kissing and..groping eachother." Chris squeezed Joey, "I never knew you were there neither did Howie." "My heart was kinda breaking so I left and cried in my room and never said anything until we got together and you told me you had been with Howie." "God Joey I can imagine how much that hurt." Lance said. Josh looked over at Lance, "Lance, honey, is that how you felt when you saw me with Bobbee?" Lance looked at Josh with wide-eyes, "Josh, darlin' it..hurt," Lance closed his eyes, "God did it hurt, at first I didn't realise that my dislike of her was because I was jealous, I never knew I was I just..hated her." Josh brought his hand up to Lance's face and tenderly caressed his cheek, "Lance I love you more than I've ever loved anybody, you are my soulmate. I know how you felt because it hurt to see you with Danielle." Lance brought his own hand up to Josh's cheek, "I wish I had figured out sooner that I loved you because we could of been together all this time but maybe now was the right time for our love." Josh smiled, "Maybe you should be the songwriter, my love." Lance blushed, "I love you Joshua and I promise you one day I will write you a song." Josh grinned and leaned towards Lance, "Can't wait, my love." Then he covered Lance's lips with his own, gently nibbling on the bottom lip before tugging slightly asking for permission to enter. Lance's eyes fluttered closed in pleasure and he eagerly opened his mouth to Josh's questing tongue, whimpering as it became entangled with his own. Josh and Lance kissed passionately for a few minutes before finally parting with one last kiss. "When this tour finishes where are you guys gonna live?" Justin asked. Josh looked at Justin, "What do you mean?" Justin smiled, "I mean you live in LA, Lance lives in Orlando, Mississippi and New York, so where are you guys gonna go or are you gonna be apart?" Lance frowned, "I hadn't even thought apart it." "Me neither, I guess we'll just have to split our time between 4 places...actually I was thinking of buying a place in Orlando since that's where we spend most of our time." Josh said. Lance smiled reaching for Josh's hand, "Yeah? There's some nice houses near mine." Josh smiled an kissed Lance's hand, "How about when the tours over you help me look for a house?" Lance smiled big and goofy, "I'd love to." Josh kissed Lance sweetly while secretly thinking he would love to move in with him; he didn't know that Lance was having the same thoughts, then the phone rang. Josh pulled back and smiled at Lance before he picked up the phone, "Hello?" "Josh?" Josh's eyes widened, "Kevin?" |
