JC and Justin sat together on the couch just staring into space.  They had just finished a show and were extremely exhausted.  This was pretty much the only time that they could spend together.  Justin moved his left arm a short distance to capture JCs hand in his.  JC broke out of his daze to turn his head to look at Justin, a large smile on his face, causing Justin to smile too.  They sat just smiling at each other for a while before JC grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.

C, Justin whined, Do we have to watch TV?

I want to check the weather, Curly, it will only take a few minutes, I promise, JC assured him.

Fine, Justin pouted, trying to get JC to look at him.

Justin, I know youre pouting, dont even try, JC said knowingly.

How did you know? Justin asked, surprise evident in his voice.

Justin, I think I know you well enough to know that you pout when you dont get your way, JC explained.

Am I that obvious? Justin asked, already knowing the answer,

Yeah, JC answered simply, flipping to the weather channel.

*Good evening and thank you for joining us today,  We have a storm warning for the Myrtle Beach area in the next few minutes.  Stay tuned!*

A storm? Justin asked, here?
I guess so JC trailed off, getting up to open the sliding glass door over their hotel room.  He shivered as a big gust of frigid air hit him.  We better see whats up, he said, going back to the couch and grabbing Justins hand again.

Do we have to? Justin whined again.

Yep, JC said.

*We are back with the storm warning on the coast of South Carolina.  a new hurricane, Hurricane Maggie, is moving quickly towards the coast near Myrtle Beach.  We advise that you gather your loved ones and go to a basement or storm shelter immediately.  Thank you.*

JC jumped up, dragging Justin with him, and ran to the door.  What are you doing, C? Justin asked dumbly.

Werent you listening?  There is a hurricane coming, Justin.  We need to go somewhere safer! JC snapped at him.  JC reached to open the door of the hotel room but the door didnt budge.  He tried over and over and then Justin tried many times.  The door still wouldnt move.

Shit, Justin swore, What do we do?

I dont know, JC sighed.  They started banging on the door trying to get one of their bodyguards or band mates attention.  Soon, they were tired of banging and screaming so they stopped and waited.  Then they heard someone yelling through the door.

Justin?  JC?  Whats going on?  Open the door! Joey yelled.

We cant!  Its stuck!  Justin yelled back.  They continued have a conversation through the door.  Joey told them he was going to go get a bodyguard.  Lonnie came to the door a few minutes later.  But he didnt believe them when they told him they were stuck and he thought they were joking.  About ten minutes later he changed his mind when they still hadnt gotten the door open.  Justin and JC were beginning to worry.

Lonnie, go ahead and get everyone else downstairs, well be ok, JC told him.

I cant do that, Lonnie said, refusing to leave.

Please, Lonnie.  Well be ok and the door isnt going to budge.  Go downstairs, JC pleaded.

Im staying here, Lonnie finalized.

***************
Jace? Justin asked shyly, when they had returned to the couch to wait out the storm.

Yes, Justin? JC said.

What are we going to do? Justin asked, fear evident in his voice.

We cant really do anything, I guess, JC answered.

Jace? Justin asked again.

Yeah? JC replied.

You know I love you, right? Justin whispered so softly that JC almost didnt hear him.

I love you too, baby, JC replied, pulling Justin into a hug, and giving him a quick kiss on the lips.  They just sat there together in silence enjoying each others company.  And even when the winds picked up, they knew they would be ok, because they were together in each others arms.
