| Joey and Justin looked at Lance and we're shocked to see his heart break all over his face, the pain so evident in his tear-filled eyes. "Daddy we're gonna help Lance finish his room, okay?" Justin asked, he and Joey needed to get Lance out of there fast before he broke down. "That's fine," Shady replied smiling at his boys, "I'll call you when it's dinner." "Alright." Joey said then he put his arm around Lance and could feel him trembling, "We'll get you settled in no time." Joey and Justin led Lance upstairs and into his new room and sat him on the bed, not quite sure what to say. "Me and Ashley are going out daddy, see you in a couple of hours." Joshua said. "Ok. Bye honey I love you." Shady said as he watched Joshua and Ashley walk hand in hand to the door. "I love you too daddy." Joshua said then left with Ashley. Back upstairs Lance just stared at the floor his lower lip trembling, he didm't want to say anything because he knew he would cry if he did. "Lance..." Justin started, "You're, you're in love with Joshua aren't you?" Lance looked up in shock but saw nothing bad in either Justin's or Joey's expression so he just nodded. "For how long?" Joey asked as he moved to sit on the bed next to Lance, Justin following. Lance took a shaky breath to try and control his emotions, "I-I always had a crush on Joshua, he was beautiful and amazing and like no other person I have ever met before." Joey wrapped an arm around Lance and squeezed lending him silent support. Justin wrapped his arm around him and whispered, "Yeah that sounds like our Joshie." Lance smiled slightly, "After Keanu left him I helped him through it but the more I was with him, the more I, the more I," Lance swallowed, "The more I fell in love with him." "Why did you never say anything?" Justin questioned. "I-I was afraid. He was getting over Keanu and momma was dating your dad, and he never really showed an interest in me." Joey and Justin exchanged a look ::should we tell him:: Joey took a chance, "Lance do you truly, madly, deeply love my brother?" "With all my heart." "So if he was to walk through that door right now and proclaim his undying love for you, you would go be with him?" "Yes." Lance replied without question, if Joshua told him that he loves him he would drop everything just to be with him. "Lance you are probably gonna hate me for what I'm gonna tell you, but I can't really blame you." Joey said. Lance looked at him wide-eyed, "Why would I hate you?" "Because I told Joshua to date Ashley." Joey blurted out. A tear slipped down Lance's cheek, "Oh." Joey back pedaled, "Well I didn't tell him to date Ashley I just told him to date someone else to see if his feelings were real." Lance swallowed and whispered, "Feelings for who?" "You." Justin said with no hesitation. "What?" Lance questioned looking in Justin's eyes. "He's in love with you Lance, and we told him to date someone else 'cause you weren't giving him any signs." Joey replied. "Really?" Lance asked hope shining from his eyes. "Yeah he does. And y'know what we're gonna help you get him." Justin said. Lance looked at them in disbelief, "Why?" "Because Joshua so absolutely loves you and Ashley is just a substitute." "You really want Joshua to be with me?" "Yeah, I like Ashley and all but it's not meant to be, you two however are." Lance smiled and hugged them, "Thank you guys." "No problem." Justin said smiling at Lance. "Do you have any ideas how we could get him to come to me?" "I've got an idea." Justin grinned and whispered the plan to them, they agreed and told Chris who they needed if it was to work he also agreed and at school Joey and Justin would start the plan. The next day at school Joey and Justin approached Joshua about joining a band with them he smiled and said, "Sure I'd love to, just us three?" "No Chris is also in it and our bass is Jason." Joey replied. "Why don't we grab Jason and practise then after school we can sing with Chris." Joshua took charge, by far the most passionate about the music. They found Jason and asked him to sing with them so they found a secluded spot and sang 'I Thought She Knew', they had all learned it from their music teacher. "That was good." Joshua said, they sounded great but it was obvious Jason couldn't sing lead. They agreed to meet at Shady's house after school to practise with Chris. "You are sure this is gonna work." Lance asked Justin after their third day of singing. "Yes." Justin rolled his eyes, "We all ready can't stand Jason he's so arrogant. Trust me he will be long gone by friday just remember when we start arguing you start singing." Lance nodded, "Ok." Today was friday and the guys were singing when Jason said, "Jc you were flat, Justin you were off key, Joey you came in at the wrong time and Chris man, you sounded like you killed somebody's hamster." Anger settled on each 'band' members faces and they all started shouting at Jason they couldn't stand him any more.
