| "Joshua! It's so good to hear your voice." "Ashley Parker Angel are you flirting with me?" Joshua giggled, he really did like Ashley and always wanted to know if something was there. Ashley smiled, "Baby you know I'm always up for some good 'ol flirting." Joshua blushed, "Good, 'cause I was, well, I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me sometime this week?" Ashley stared at the phone in disbelief, did the man he's been crushing on forever just ask him out? "You want to go on a date with me?" "Don't act so surprised you're one damn fine man." Ashley blushed, "Hmmm let me think. Go out on a date with the most gorgeous guy I've ever met or stay at home doing homework, yeah that's a toughy." Joshua giggled, "Ashley you are so cute." Ashley smiled, "Not as cute as you Joshua Scott." Joshua blushed, "Ashley Parker will you go out on a date with me?" "I would love to." Ashley smiled into the phone, "I've only been thinking about it since well forever." Joshua shook his head laughing, "You are too much. Why don't I meet you at school tomorrow and we'll talk about what to do, ok?" "That's fine Joshua. I'll see you tomorrow at school then?" "Yeah. Bye Angel." Joshua smiled. "Bye Joshua." Ashley said before hanging up the phone with the hugest grin you'll ever see on his face, "I have a date with Joshua!" Joshua smiled and hung up the phone, Ashley's not Lance but he's a beautiful person all the same. "I have a date with Ashley!" Joshua squealed before giggling and turning the light off falling asleep with a smile on his face. THE NEXT MORNING Joshua groaned as the alarm went off, "Hmpf." Joshua grunted as he turned it off and burrowed himself further into bed. He was just on the edge of falling asleep when Justin jumped on him knocking the breath out of him. "Wakey, wakey, rise and shine, sleepy-Josh." Justin giggled as he jumped up and down. "JuJu what are you doing up? I'm usually the one who drags your ass out of bed." Joshua groaned. "I was too excited to sleep. Did you call him? Have you got a date? Where is it? Who is it with?" "Justin Randall Mathers have you ever heard of waiting 'til a person has the right amount of brain functions before asking him 20 questions?" Justin giggled he was used to grumpy morning Josh, "That didn't answer my question?" "Dang it didn't I'll have to work on my comebacks next time," Justin jumped on him again and Joshua groaned, "Fine! Yes I called him. Yes I have a date. No I don't know where it is and it's with Ashley Angel." "Ashley he's a good boy." Justin mused. "You sound like daddy." Joshua giggled. Justin smiled, "Like that's a bad thing." "J get your fat ass off me while I take a shower." Justin pouted, "Fine I've got the information I wanted anyway." Justin tickled Joshua before running out of the room. Joshua sighed and got up, he walked into the bathroom and set the temperature before stepping into the shower relaxing under the hot spray. 20 minutes later he stepped out and got dressed heading downstairs for some breakfast. "Hi daddy." Joshua greeted as he reached for the orange juice. "Hey baby." Shady smiled, he heard Joshua talking on the phone last night and knew he had a date this week. Joshua ate his breakfast which surprises him 'cause he was actually quite nervous; at seeing Ashley or Lance? he wasn't quite sure. Shady told his kids, "It's time to go." So they got in the car and Shady dropped his kids off, "Bye baby's I love you." "I love you too daddy." Joshua, Justin and Joey said. "I'm going to see Kelly see you guys at home." Joey said as he walked off to find Kelly. "I'm gonna find Brit, good luck with your boys." Justin said as he walked off to find his crush. Joshua shook his head at his brothers and was about to look for Ashley when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Hey Joshie." Lance whispered. Joshua jumped about a foot in the air and whirled around to see the object of his affection and couldn't help but feel guilty, "Lance you scared the heck outta me." Lance grinned and Joshua couldn't help but think he looked adorable, "Didn't mean to," Lance giggled, "Am we meeting for lunch?" Joshua opened his mouth to say yes but thought of Ashley and decided to have lunch with him, "I can't, I'm having lunch with Ashley today." Lance swallowed his dissapointment and smiled at Joshua, "That's ok, I..." Lance was cut off as he heard a shout of, "Joshua!" And saw Ashley run and hug Joshua and kiss him on the cheek, "It's good to see you, you look good." Joshua blushed and Lance couldn't help but think he was adorable, he also couldn't help but glare at Ashley [[Your jealous]] his mind sing-songed as he watched Ashley walk off with Joshua who turned around and gave Lance a beautiful smile. Lance sighed and walked to class there was something unsettling about the way Ashley had his arm around Josh all cozy, Lance just couldn't put his finger on what it was. Joshua had a great time with Ashley at lunch but he still kinda felt guilty about not being with Lance so when Ashley went to visit some of his friends Joshua went and looked for Lance and found him by this beautiful oak tree that overlooked the field. "Hey baby-J." Joshua said softly as he sat next to Lance. Lance looked at Josh and his face automatically brightened, "Hey," His voice equally soft, "I thought you were with Ashley." Joshua smiled, "I was but I missed you and wanted to talk to you." Lance smiled, "What do you wanna talk about?" Joshua laughed, "I don't know." The boys just smiled at eachother and settled into a comfortable silence. A few days passed and it was time for Joshua's big date with Ashley, he was a little nervous. "JuJu what should I wear?" Joshua whined for the fourth time in an hour. "Jace relax your not getting married your just going on a date with a boy you like." Justin said calmly. Joshua took a few soothing breaths, "Yeah. Nothing big, just a date." As Joshua was a bit more calmer he got dressed without any more fuss which Justin was glad about 'cause he was starting to annoy him. Half an hour later there wa a knock on the door, Joshua sprinted for the door almost tripping over his own feet, "Hey Ashley." Ashley smiled, Joshua looked good, "Hey Joshua ready to go?" "Yeah bye see y'all in a couple of hours." Joshua yelled and shut the door and followed Ashley to his car as they went on their first date. |
