| Joshua winked at Lance while he sang the chorus and Lance's grin got a little bit bigger. Ashley caught it and glared at Lance; he knew about Lance's crush on Joshua and he knew that Joshua had a crush on Lance, he didn't know that Joshua still has feeling for Lance. Lance saw Ashley glaring and he just smiled, if Ashley was getting jealous of HIM it means the plan is working and he will be with Joshua very soon. When they finished the song Darren said, "That was a good song, you guys sounded great. I know what dance moves I want for the song but if you guys want to imput some moves that's fine with me. We'll meet after school as you all live together I'll pick you up and take you to a studio where I work, alright?" "That's fine." Joshua spoke for all of them and smiled at Darren as he left. Ashley was heading with Darren when he asked, "You coming?" Joshua looked at Ashley then he looked at the guys; or more precisely Lance, then answered, "My next class is near Lance's so I'm going with him." Ashley didn't look too happy but he said nothing, "Ok. See you later babe." He gave Joshua a kiss then left. Lance smiled at Joshua, he and Joshua didn't have a class now so he must want to talk, "Everything ok between you two?" Joshua hesitated, "Um, yeah, well no, well sorta, I mean..." Lance layed his hand on Joshua's arm and said soothingly, "It's ok sweetie, you wanna talk about it." Joshua looked down into Lance's beautiful jade eyes and smiled, "Yeah, wanna go somewhere?" Lance smiled, "Yeah, I know we've both gotta a free wanna go to McD's." "Sure." Joshua said as he and Lance walked to McDonalds and ordered 2 burger and fries. When they sat down Lance asked, "Wanna tell me about it?" Joshua sighed and said, "Ashley really likes me and I like him but..." Lance reached for his hand. "But what Joshua?" "But I'm not really interested in him anymore, I got feelings for somebody else." Lance's heart leapt into his throat ::could Joshua be talking about him?:: "Should I break up with him?" Joshua asked. "Yes." Lance said without thinking. Joshua looked up at Lance, "You think I should, why?" 'Because you belong with me' was on the tip of Lance's tongue then he thought better and said, "It's wrong to string Ashley along if you don't feel anything except friendship for him anymore. It's not fair to you and It's not fair to Ashley." [[And it's not fair to me]] Lance thought. Joshua sighed, "I know." "Who's the other guy Joshua? It is a guy right?" Lance asked, hoping Joshua says its him. "Yes, It's a guy." Joshua said [[Should I tell him?]] Joshua thought [[Tell him what? That it's him?]] "Who is it?" Lance asked. [[Tell him about him don't say who it is]] "I'm not gonna say his name but I'll tell you about him," Lance nodded, "He's amazing." Lance tried to hide the jealousy in his eyes [[If he's talking about you your gonna feel really stupid about being jealous at yourself]] "Do you really like him?" "I love him?" Joshua answered with out thinking. Lance swallowed [[Please be talking about me]] "If you love him why are you with Ashley?" Joshua looked up and answered, "Because I wasn't sure if it was love or just rebound feelings. Ashley liked me and I liked him so I asked him out and it was good at the beginning but I've now realized how strongly I feel about the other guy." "You love him." "Yes. I really wanna be with him but I don't know if he loves me back." Lance took a deep breath, he really hoped Joshua was talking about him, "How old it he?" Joshua blushed, "He's 15." Lance's smile grew [[There is no way that is a coincidence]] "He's my age, do I know him?" Joshua smiled, "You know him." [[You definetely know him]] "If I know him why can't you tell me?" 'Because it's you' Joshua wanted to say but he didn't, "You know what I'll tell you this friday?" "Why this friday?" "Give me time to break up with Ashley. also after a week of dancing we will be exausted so I assume we'll be crashed on the bed." [[And you won't punch me when I tell you]] Lance smiled, "Ok. I hope this guy is right for you." Joshua blushed, "He is." "You've gotta sing in assembly this afternoon, right?" Joshua smiled, "Yeah. I am so nervous." "I'm sure everyone will love you." "I hope your right." "I'll be cheering for you and so will Joey and Justin." Lance reached across the table and took Joshua's hand, "If you're nervous just look for me and pretend your singing just for me." Joshua smiled and squeezed Lance's hand, "Alright." They finished their meals and went back to school they did their lessons and ate lunch and then when it was time for assembly Joey, Justin and Lance we're with Joshua to stop him freaking out. "Joshie it's gonna be alright." Justin said in hopes of calming his brother down. "But what if they don't like me?" Joshua asked, nervously. "Joshua you have a beautiful voice, they won't." Joey said. Lance looked at Joshua and his heart ached he walked over and embraced him, loving the feeling of Joshua in his arms and he breathed in his scent. Joshua hugged back breathing in Lance's scent, "What's this for?" "You need it and remember if you're nervous look at me," Lance pulled back slighly his arms still wrapped tightly around Joshua, "And I'll be smiling at you and just think your singing just for me." Joshua smiled and kissed Lance on the cheek, "Ok." Joshua looked at the stage and said, "I think it's about time." "Ok." Lance said and gave him a squeeze and let the guys hug him before sitting down. "We are proud to present Joshua Mathers who is going to sing for you." The principal announced Joshua. Joshua walked in and smiled as he heard Justin, Joey and Lance making more noise then the rest of them. "I am going to sing 'There Will Come A Day' this song means a lot to me so I am gonna dedicate it to Nicole Kidman-Mathers; my mom." Justin and Joey knew how hard it is for Joshua to sing this song; he sang it at her funeral, they were so proud of him. Lance was so proud of Josh, he knew Josh didn't sing this song because of his mother, Lance smiled encouragedly at Josh. [[Was I that bad?]] Joshua thought as he opened his eyes and smiled as everybody started clapping, Justin, Joey and Lance stood up grinning, cat-calling and wolf-whistling at him. Lance and Joshua smiled at eachother and Lance blew an air smooch at Josh, Joshua grinned and sent one back. Joshua blushed on stage as everyone was still clapping [[Was I really that good?]] |
