| HOTEL ROOM: NEW YORK - AUGUST 25TH Josh was laying on the bed watching Lance look through the closet for something to wear for tonight. "Baby, you'll look gorgeous no matter what you wear and we've got 8 hours 'til it starts, plenty of time." Lance stopped what he was doing and walked over to Josh, "How you doing darlin'?" Josh grinned ruefully, "Well, my back hurts, my hips hurt and the little one here seems to be trying to win the best dance award 'cause he hasn't stopped moving." Lance smiled, "He? Are you sure it's not a girl?" Josh cupped Lance's face and brought him down for a short, sweet kiss, "I don't care what it is as long as it's healthy." "Have you decided where you're gonna have the baby?" "Knowing my luck I'll have it tonight and my water will break while I'm handing out the award." Lance kissed Josh's head, "Well it would make great television." Josh laughed, "You are the best baby. And to answer your question, I'm thinking LA but I'm still kinda fond of Orlando, or do you think it will be too hot?" Lance laughed, "I don't think it matters. Well whatever you decide I'll support you." Josh smiled and stroked his swollen stomach, "We've got less then a month left Lance, a month 'til our child is born." Lance smiled still in awe at the fact he was becoming a father, "I can't wait, I'm gonna be right there with you Joshua I want to see my baby born." Josh patted the space next to him, "Sit down sweetie." Lance sat next to Josh and cuddled up to his side, "Josh do you want more children?" Josh began to run his fingers through Lance's hair, "Let's wait until we have our first one babe before we start on the next." Lance smiled, "I didn't mean right away but...sometime in the future do you want more?" "I wanna a whole family babe," Josh laughed, "Just like the Brady Bunch." Lance laughed, "I do, I want loads of little you's and me's in a big house in Mississippi, with a lake nearby and no neighbors for miles." Josh smiled and kissed Lance's hair, "Me too, sounds like heaven." "Baby after tonight do you want to go to LA and just stay there until the baby's born?" "I think I'm gonna have to. So this is the last public event I'll, we'll be seen at until Junior's born." Lance nodded his head and brought his hand to Josh's stomach and began to tenderly caress it, "Yeah and we can get the guys to decorate a nursery for us as we haven't done it yet." "As we don't know what it is yet, do you want to go for a neutral color?" "Yeah, how 'bout purple?" "Purple sounds like a good idea," Josh's eyes lit up and he smiled, "I know, how about we do it in blue and green? Representing us, green for you and blue for me." Lance smiled, "That sounds wonderful. Do you want to sleep before we start getting ready love?" Josh nodded, "Yeah, I am kinda tired." Lance pulled the blanket up and covered him and Josh, "Night my love." "Night sweetheart." Josh whispered before falling into a blissful sleep. RADIO CITY: VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS - 7PM Lance stepped out of the limo dressed in his favorite blue Wranglers and a tight blue shirt with 'My Boy Is Hot!' on it, he held his hand out for his heavily-pregnant fiance who stepped out of the limo dressed in a t-shirt that promoted the website he was creating 'onlyartist.com', a dark blue hat and specially designed jeans that showed off his big bump, they looked gorgeous together. Instantly flashes went off everywhere and they gave a few soundbites until they met up with Chris, Joey and Jennifer Love Hewitt and talked with John Norris before going inside. The guys went inside and got seated Josh carefully sitting down and they watched the show get started the guys laughing hysterically as Jimmy Fallon impersonated Eminem, The White Stripes, Avril Lavigne, Nelly, Dave Matthews Band, Enrique Englasias and James Brown came out and sang! And then Britney Spears came out. "What the hell is Britney wearing?" JC whispers to Lance while giggling. Lance laughed shaking his head, "I don't know, she looks like one of the Village People." Josh laughed at Lance and smiled as she gave Michel Jackson his birthday cake and then...Micheal gave his speech. "What is he talking about?" Josh asked thoroughly confused by one of his idols who they performed with at last years VMA's. "I have no idea." Lance said very confused, "Maybe he...got something wrong." Josh nodded then Britney introduced the first award 'Best Pop Video' which they were in. The award went to No Doubt for 'Hey Baby'. Then Jennifer Love Hewitt introduced Pink who was singing 'Just Like A Pill', Josh loved this song. They settled down for the rest of the awards Justin's first solo performance wasn't until it was nearly over so they watched and when Eminem won 'Best Rap Video' Josh clapped; he really liked his music and when he heard him diss Chris in 'Without Me' he laughed so hard it was so funny 'Chris Kirkpatrick you can get your ass kicked'. Josh and Lance loved Shakira's performance she's a great artist, JC loved her 'stage dive' he wished he could do it but his fans would probably tear his clothes off instead of pass him along. Josh loved Eminem's performance he thought it was so cheeky to use the surpreme court as a setting for his song, 'White America' was great and so was 'Cleaning out My Closet'. When Carson introduced the 'MTV Lisa Lopes AIDS Scholarship' and TLC came out, and Chille and T-Boz made that emotional speech about Left Eye, Josh cried she was so nice and so much fun, he couldn't really believe she was gone. "Baby you okay?" Lance asked putting his arm around Josh. Josh sniffed and wiped his eyes, "Yeah it's just, I can't believe she's really gone! I mean last year Aaliyah this year Left Eye." "I know she was great to work with, I miss her too." Josh smiled and kissed Lance, "I know, thank you." They watched as Chille and T-Boz left, then Carson presented the 'Best Group' which they were in but didn't win it went to No Doubt. P Diddy's performance was one of the best Josh had seen with Usher, Busta Rhymes and Pharell Williams, and when Pink one her award he had to laugh at her being drunk. Sheryl Crow's performance was great, Josh and Lance loved her, Christina Aguilera didn't look too bad even though she was wearing next to nothing, and her presenting Eminem with an award was a bit ironic. Then the moment everybody has been waiting for, Brandy came out and introduced Justin who performed 'Like I Love You' and Josh and Lnace giggled over how he looked and acted a bit like Micheal Jackson. Then they went out to present the award for 'Viewer's Choice', with Justin. "I gotta tell you, this kids pretty good. That kicked ass dude." Chris said making Justin laugh. "Alright, so, I gotta catch my breath, hold on...whew, alright, viewers choice is our favorite award." Justin said. Joey stepped up to the microphone, "We've won it for the last two years, but what makes it even cooler is the fact that we've, uh, not only been voted on, by the fans, it's presented by them too, so." "So now here to hand out the Viewer's Choice nom-ah, moonman, elected by home viewer's, MTV's last fan standing." JC said as he watched them give the award, and he clapped for Michelle Branch when she won, he loved her music. They stayed for the rest of the show, they were up for 'Video Of The Year' with 'Gone' but they didn't get it, it went to Eminem, and when Guns 'N Roses played they were blown away they had been away for so long and now they were back. When they left Josh and Lance partied for a little bit then went home. "I really enjoyed tonight." Josh said as they went to their hotel room. "Me too, Justin was great." Lance said as he begun undressing and helped Josh get undressed. "Yeah he was." Josh agreed as they got in bed and watched a little television before falling asleep. JC'S HOUSE: LA - SEPTEMBER 17TH Lance was awakened by Josh urgently shaking his shoulder, he opened his eyes and asked, "What is it, Josh?" "Lance," Josh sounded frightened, "The baby's coming." Now Lance was awake he looked at Josh who was sweating profusely, "What?!" "My water broke." Josh said simply. "Oh my God!" |
