| "SURPRISE!" Everyone shouted as Lance walked in. "Oh my Gosh!" Lance gasped as he looked around at everyone who was there; all their famiies including his, then he landed on Josh who was smiling at him and he knew that Josh did this. Josh, Joey, Chris and Justin walked over to Lance and started singing: "Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday, dear Lansten, Happy birthday to you." Lance smiled and hugged them as tears filled his eyes, when he hugged Josh he kissed him long and sweet. Lance pulled back and stared into the most beautiful blue eyes he had ever seen, "Thank you Josh. I love you." Josh brushed a kiss against Lance's and whispered, "Anything for you, and I love you too." Lance smiled and with his arm around Josh's waist he greeted all the guests and talked with his family. A couple of hours later Justin said, "Time for the birthday boy to cut the cake." Lance walked over to the cake and giggled when he saw it was a *NSync cake with 23 candles on it. "Make a wish." Josh whispered. Lance stared into Josh's eyes as he blew out the candles and made a wish. Justin gave Lance the knife and he cut it and then the guys handed it out making sure Josh got a peice with Lance's head and Lance got a peice with Josh's head. Joey put on 'This I Promise You'; Lance and Josh's song, and announced, "It's time for the couple to dance." Lance and Josh walked towards eachother and Lance wrapped his arms around Josh's waist and Josh wrapped his arms around Lance's neck and as they started to sway to the music they stared into eachother's eyes. Lance sighed happily, "This night has been amazing Josh." Josh leaned forward and kissed Lance, "This is a special year and I wanted to make your birthday special for you." "Everyday I spend with you is special." Josh smiled as a tear rolled down his cheek, "I love you." Lance kissed the tear away and whispered, "I love you too Josh, more than anything." Lance layed his head on Josh's shoulder and breathed in his intoxicating smell as they danced and he could hear Josh softly singing the song in his ear causing tears to prick his eyes. When the song finished Jusin said, "It's time for presents." Josh and Lance went to the table the guys had set up and Lance opened presents, he got laptop accessories, computer games, a book called 'The Worst Names To Call A Child' from Chris they both giggled at that, new clothes, Garth Brooks CD's, Dr Seuss things, Tazmanien Devil toys (Like he didn't have enough already!), Joey got him every single JC doll they had made. Lance laughed, "Dude how'd you get all these, there's like 20 here." "I went in all the toystores and found most of them and I got the rest on the internet." Joey repled grinning. "Thanks Joey. Our baby can play with these." They opened the rest from everybody else and now they were just waiting for Josh's present. Josh handed Lance an envelope, "This is from me." Lance looked up at Josh and then opened it up there were 2 plane tickets, "Josh?" "I only got us 2 days off so were flying to Rome for 2 days then coming home, happy birthday baby." Josh said smiling. Lance had to blink back tears as he hugged Josh, "Thank you, thank you. Josh, God, this is all I ever wanted to spend time with you." Josh pulled back and cupped Lance's face, "I love you." A tear rolled down Lance's cheek as he brought his hands up to cover Josh's and smiled at him, "I love you too." Josh leaned in and covered Lance's lips with his own, moving his lips over them while his hands slid to Lance's waist. Lance wrapped his arms around Josh's neck and opened his lips to let Josh's beautiful tongue into his mouth. Lance and Josh kissed for a few more minutes before Lance asked, "When do we leave?" "Tomorrow night, we come back Wednesday morning." Josh answered. "So we've got all day tomorrow to pack?" "Yes." Josh said as he leaned in for another kiss. They continued celebrating until about 10 then there guests left for their hotel rooms as their flights were tomorrow. Joey announced, "We're going to a club, we'll try to be quiet when we come back in." "Ok." Lance replied as he played with Josh's fingers. "Bye." Joey, Chris and Justin said as they left. "Bye." Lance and Josh said as they left. "What do you wanna do baby?" Josh asked as he ran his fingers through Lance's hair. Lance sighed and snuggled closer to Josh, "I don't know." "How about we watch some movies and order some pizza or room service?" "Sounds perfect." "Alright you order whatever you want from room service and get a pizza for me and a hamburger. I'll look through our bags and see what videos and DVD's we brought." Josh said as he kissed Lance quickly before heading into their room. Lance smiled as he watched Josh walk away and picked up the phone and ordered snacks and food from room service. 10 minuted later Josh came back in and said, "We don't wanna be up too late so I thought we'd watch 'Big Daddy' and 'Die Hard', that ok?" "That's fine." Lance said as he turned on the TV which came onto CNN and they saw themselves earlier today at the pizzaria when Josh was in Lance's lap. The ancherwoman said, "...JC Chasez and Lance Bass today as the group *NSync celebrated Lance's birthday..." "What are we America's no.1 couple now or something?" Josh asked exasperated as he put 'Big Daddy' in and got a comforter and snuggled back in with Lance. "So we're the new Justin and Britney?" Lance asked. Josh giggled making Lance smile, "Maybe for a while but y'know they'll probably get back together." "Maybe." Lance said as he snuggled closer to Josh then got up as he heard the knock on the door signaling room service. Lance brought in the food then said, "One pizza just for you my love." Josh took the pizza and brought Lance down for a kiss, "Thank you Lance." "Your welcome honey." Lance said as he got some maltesars and snuggled back in with Josh. They settled in to watch the film laughing and smiling at most of it. "Can you pass me a Dr Pepper please babe?" Josh asked. "Sure." Lance reached over and picked one up but when Josh went to take it Lance pulled his hand away, "Uh-uh I need a kiss first." Josh raised an eyebrow, "Do you now?" Lance pouted, "If you want a sip, give me a kiss." Josh smiled, "That rhymed should be our next single." "Josh will you kiss...Mmmm." Lance said as Josh covered his lips with his own and kissed Lance tenderly. "There you happy?" Josh asked grinning as Lance tried to catch his breath. "Y-yes." Lance said as he stared at Josh's lips then he pounced and covered Josh's lips with his and kissed him passionately. When Lance pulled back he gave Josh the can and said, "There you may drink now." Josh kissed Lance's nose, "Cute." Lance just smiled as they watched the rest of the film, when it ended Josh got up and put 'Die Hard' in. Josh snuggled back in with Lance and said, "This is like my favorite film of all time; next to 'Star Wars' of course." Lance smiled and kissed Josh, "Mine too. Bruce Willis is just like the best...there's no comparing with him." "Totally." Half an hour into the film Josh got hungry, "Lance we got any food left?" Lance looked around and in the cart, "No we're fresh out of food and drink. Why is my baby hungry?" Josh pouted and nodded, "Mmmhmm." "Well let's call room service and order some more hamburgers and fries and Dr Pepper, that ok?" Lance asked as he picked up the phone. Josh smiled, "That's fine," He wrapped his arms around Lance's neck and sighed, "My hero." Lance giggled, "Anything for you Darlin'" Lance ordered the food and drinks and 15 minutes later it came and Lance walked over to Josh and gave him the plate of hamburger and fries, "There you go sweetie." "Thanks Lance, I love you." Lance smiled, "I love you too." He settled back in Josh's arms and they watched the rest of the movie. At 4am Justin, Joey and Chris returned from the club to see Josh and Lance asleep on the couch wrapped around eachother. "There so cute don'tcha think?" Justin asked, as he stared at them with a smile on his face. "Yeah, we better go so we don't wake them." Joey said. "Ok, night guys." Justin said as he walked into his room. "Night." Joey and Chris said as they went into their rooms. Josh and Lance snuggled closer as they slept, both can't wait for tomorrow when they go away together; to Rome. |
