Pure Love
Jace? Joey said, turning towards his lover who was sitting on the couch next to him.  They were watching TV.

Yeah, Joe? JC replied, not looking away from the TV.

Can we do something different tonight? Joey asked.

What do you mean, something different?  You dont want to have sex? JC wondered aloud.

No, I do.  I-its just always the same, Joey complained.

How so? JC asked curiously.

Well, I always suck you off and then you are on top while we have sex.  Cant we try something different? Joey explained, almost whining when he asked the question.

Whatd you have in mind? JC asked, finally looking at Joey.  Joey wouldnt help but think that he looked damn hot when he was trying to hide his curiosity.

Well, I dont know.  Can we just go with the flow and explore for a change?  We got into a pattern and Im not saying that its boring, but well, you know Joey tried to explain, but failed miserably.

Ok, if thats how you feel, JC started, not able to hide how hurt he was.  I guess we could do something different.

Awww, Jace, Im sorry, I didnt mean to make you upset, Joey said, feeling bad.

I-I just if you arent satisfied with me, Joey, maybe you should find someone else, JC suggested, bursting into tears at the thought of Joey leaving him for someone else.

Jace, thats not what I meant, Joey said, trying to soothe JC.  He pulled JC close and JC held on tight.

I am so sorry, Jace, forget that I even said anything, Joey said, wishing that hed just kept his mouth shut.

I cant, Joey.  I want to make you happy, JC sniffled, pulling away a little, but not too much so that he was still in Joeys arms.

You do make me happy, Josh, you really do.  I-I love you, Joey told JC cautiously.  Theyd never said those three words to each other before, unless it was in a friendly way.

You you do? JC asked, his eyes widening and then filling with more tears.  Happy tears.

Yes, I do.  I love you so much, Josh.  This relationship was never just about sex to me, ever.  I was just too scared to tell you.  I love you.  I love this, Joey said, pointing to JCs heart.  I love you on the inside as well as the outside.  Ive never felt this way about someone before, Josh.  This is real.

There were still tears running down JCs cheeks when Joey finished his speech.

II, Joey, was all JC could say before fresh tears filled his eyes.

Shhh, Jace, Joey shushed him, brushing the tears from JCs face and placing a kiss on JCs now salty-tasting lips.

When they pulled away, JC still couldnt speak, but Joey could see exactly how he felt by the look in his eyes.

The look he saw there was pure love.

And then he realized that it didnt matter how repetitive their sex was before.  It didnt matter because Joey knew that what they had now was real.

And thats all that mattered.
