| But I'm Not Special |

| "Yeah they could go on without me." Those words rang clearly and loudly in my ears. He didn't just say that, no way. The laughter had died down in the audience but I was sat there left wondering. "They could go on without me." Why would he think that? We couldn't go on without him. That's insane. The show ended and we all went backstage. "They could go on without me." We left out the backdoor to avoid the mob building on the street. The mobs were kind of cool at first, kind of like a bragging right, "Hey, I've got a mob of girls screaming my name." The next day it got annoying. We got in our limo. He just sat down next to me. Ooh, he smells good. He must be insane. I alone couldn't go on without him. "They could go on without me." Insane nuts, he's going to the loony bin. Look at him. He's frowning. He never frowns. God, he looks so sad, almost depressed. Maybe I should tell him how I feel… No then I would be the crazy one… Maybe I already am. "They could go on without me." I'm going to tell him, I have to. I have to. I'll just go to his room, knock on the door and tell him. I knocked and he answered. He looks tired, his hair is sticking every which way and his eyes are all hazed over. "They could go on without me." Can't go on, I can't go on without him. Just open your mouth and speak. "Did I wake you up?" I asked stupidly. My voice sounds all hoarse, my lips are dry; I'm probably scaring him. "Yeah, it is, what," he said peeking inside the room to look at the clock, "3:14 AM, so I gotta ask what are you doing up?" he asked leading me into his room. He's sitting down on the bed. He looks so cute with his legs tucked up beneath him. The room is kinda dark, almost, dare I say, romantic. The bathroom lights are on but that's it, yet he still freaking glows. "They could go on without me." "Uh, Josh? You okay?" he asked me. Aw, he's concerned. That's so sweet. I can't wait any longer. Just say it. "I couldn't go on without you," I spit out stupidly, not taking a minute to phrase it. "I knew that would bug you," he grinned. "Then why'd you say it?" Oh, great, now he's going to confuse me, I just love this game. "So I could hear you say that, so I could do this," Lance smiled as he walked towards me and pressed his lips to mine. I felt his tongue eagerly pressing to receive entry into my mouth and I realized something. I wouldn't have to go on without him anymore. THE END |
