Batty For You
Josh?  What the *hell* are you watching?

Josh looked up at Chris from his spot on the couch.  TV.

Obviously.  What show is this? Chris asked, making a face at the TV.

Discovery Channel, Josh responded, turning his attention back to the TV.  They watched silently until a commercial came on.

Um, what were those ugly black things? Chris questioned, furrowing his eyebrows.

Bats, Chris.  Geez, have you never seen a bat before? Josh replied, giggling.

Those *things* were bats! Chris exclaimed, confused.

Yes, Chris.

Oh.

Yeah.  Any other questions? Josh asked.

Why are you watching a show about bats?

Because I like bats, Josh reasoned.

Why?

Will you stop with the questions? Josh said, beginning to get annoyed.

Ok, sorry, Chris replied as the show came back on.

They watched in complete silence, both completely focused on the TV screen, amazed at what they were seeing.

When it was over, Josh turned off the TV and they looked over at each other.

Woah.

Yeah, woah.

Did you know bats could do *that*? Chris asked, still fascinated.

No.

Cool!

Hey, are you saying you enjoyed my show? Josh asked, his eyes sparkling.

Dont put words into my mouth, Chris replied, a smirk on his face.  I wouldnt say I enjoyed it, but it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be.

Yeah, sure, like you werent staring at the screen the entire last half! Josh exclaimed, a smile on his face.

Whatever you say, Chris responded, waving Joshs suggestion away with his hands.

Why cant you just admit it? Josh questioned.

Because then Id have to admit that you were right, Chris explained and he added, But Im not saying you were, when he saw the grin on Joshs face.

I think you just did!

Oh, shut up, Leo.

Leo?

Yep, Chris replied, tickling Joshs sides.

Hey, stop.

Why?

Cause Im going to call you Elf if you dont, Josh threatened.

Joooooosh, you know I hate it when you call me that, Chris whined.

All the more reason for me to use that name, Josh replied, smirking.

Youre mean.

But you love me anyway, right?

Chris sighed.  You got me there, Leo.

I sure do, Elf.

I told you not to call me that.

Well, if you want any action tonight, and Im sure you know what I mean, then youre going to let me call you Elf, Josh replied.

Oh, thats mean, baby, real mean.

You know you like it.

Yes I sure do.

Chris leaned in to kiss up and down Joshs jaw before placing a sweet kiss on his lips.

I love you, Leo, he said between kisses.

I love you too, my Elf.

Chris just giggled.  No matter how much he complained about it, he admitted to himself that he didnt *really* mind Joshs nickname for him.
