Charmont (who prefers to be called 'Char') met Ella of Frell when she was just sixteen years old. She had been cursed with a 'gift' from the fairy Lucinda that forced her to obey every order given to her, no matter what the consequences. A few years later Ella gave birth to a son, Namian, the crown prince of Kyrria. She was then kidnapped by Char's enemy, King Cyrin, in an attempt to force Char to accept defeat and hand over his country in exchange for her life. But the princess managed to escape thanks to the efforts of Will, a mercinary, and his gang. King Cyrin was defeated by Char and Ella was reunited with her husband.
When Namian turned 19, he met a young fugitive named Tea and left the castle to find her. He neglected to tell anyone where he was going and sent the palace in an uproar. Despite this, Ella and Char bother remained confident in their son and his ability to take care of himself.
