| Name: Arleta, daughter of Aden Goes by: Tea Age: 17 Associates: The Tribe of Emen, Bast Thieves Coven. A red-haired, easy to anger rebel, Arleta was born in the Tribe of Emen to Aden and Annalise. She grew up with her younger sister Hannah in a perfectly normal childhood, but she became increasingly aware of her rebelious nature as she grew. Somewhere along the way, she began going by "Tea," a variation of her first name, though no one knows exactly why. Among her childhood friends was Harloe, the son of a shoemaker from a seperate nomadic tribe. He was also her first love. When she turned sixteen, Tea had a falling out with her father after he attempted to arrange her marriage. When she argued and refused to go through with it, her angry father announced the engagement anyway. It was then that Tea decided that it was time to leave her tribe. After weeks of travel, Tea arrived in Bast. Unable to find employment, she resorted to begging, and when that didn't work she then began to steal her food. Her skills were noticed by D'arvan, a local thief and leader of the Thieves Coven. He took her under his wing and she soon became one of his best, but the relationship only lasted for a year. As soon as she had earned enough, Tea moved on to the next town. By this time, Tea's sister Hannah had tracked her down. Unable to convince her to leave, they stayed together in a tent just outside the bar where Tea worked as a barmaid. For the first time in a long time, Tea was happy. Until one night, while working a late shift, Tea encountered a group of dangerous looking men in the bar. They insulted her and her infamous temper got the better of her. She stole papers from them as revenge, not realizing until later that they were blueprints for the castle in Kyrria. It wasn't long until the men tracked them down. Tea managed to escape, but Hannah was injured and captured. Determined to save her, Tea agreed to trade the documents for her sister's life. It wasn't until she ran into Kyrria's crown prince that things became complicated. |
