Before Namian was born, years before, Will had worked for an enemy of Char's and was trusted with the task of kidnapping Ella, only a princess at the time. The task was successful, but it wasn't long before Will found himself falling in love with the Kyrrian princess. He helped her escape and took her to his tribe.
Will had known Kara, the distant granddaughter of Emen (and later cousin to Tea), for years. It was only after Ella had refused his affections and left did he realize that Kara was his match. The two were married and stayed close friends of the Kyrrian Royal Family for years.
