Alone

I'm alone and no one knows me
I guess that's my fault though
I keep myself locked up

But how come no one's tried
To force their way in
And break down the walls?

Is there nothing inside
That appeals to anyone?
Nothing anyone wants to see more of?

What is in there?
I don't know
It's been hidden away so long

I've forgotten what I contain
I guess that's part of the problem
Hopefully some day someone will be intrigued

And dig away trying to find the true me inside
But mostly I hope that once it happens
They'll like what they find
