Mercy Brown:
Account of visitation between 1 am and 2 am, June 4, 2005
There were 5 occupants in the Izuzu Rodeo, each with a different but equally important background.
Rich, Driver. Longtime interest in horror films, history of night terrors, much past experience with apparitions and other phenomenon
Kyle, Front passenger. Long history of expeirence with ghosts, beleiver in all things supernatural
Jake, drivers side window, backseat. past interest in Wiccan customs, history of "feeling" spirits.
Sarah, backseat, middle. Beleiver in the supernatural and open minded.
Joe, backseat, passenger side. relative non beleiver, no past concrete evidence of supernatural or spiritual occurences.
Departed from burrillville around 12:15 am. Reached the Graveyard at about 1:15 am, after some searching. Found the Brown plot past the first stone wall on the left, with the cedar tree in the middle. The group began walking toward the left, around the brown plot, with one flashlight. After nearly reaching the wall, most of the group turned around, though Joe continued without the light and encircled the Brown Plot. Shortly after, there was a regrouping at the car (which was turned to face the exit of the cemetary). The crypt and supposed resting place (temporary?) of Mercy Brown was sighted on the far side of the cemetary. Joe and Rich began approaching the crypt, followed by Sarah and Kyle. Jake almost followed, abruptly turning back and getting into the car, alone.
Joe reached the crypt first, and at the mention of "knocking on the door," raises his fist to the wood as if to knock. Then opens his hand and lets it rest on the crypt door. Rich soon approaches and follows suit. Both later recount that most surroundings were completely lost to preception once contact was made with the crypt. No other unusual feeling or occurance can be described. Seen through the cracks in the wooden door was stone sealing over the entrance to the crypt. Joe then touched the stone wall of the crypt near the door. Joe recounted later that he barely even realized that Kyle and Sarah had gone back to the car, so Joe and Rich began moving back down the path.
Suddenly, Rich hears footsteps to his left and shines his light in the direction. At that moment Joe had done a full turn to his left and was looking right where Rich shined the light. Both recount the same sight: A large gravestone stood near the path. Moving from behind the gravestone toward the car was what appeared to be a black figure, steping out with its right hand and right foot extended. As it stepped down the figure disappeared. Th tworan back to the car and rich got in first. Joe, (still skeptical) was the last to get back into the car. As soon as he shut his door, Kyle (who was directly in front of him now) said, "Joe's not in the car!"
It was quickly established that Joe was indeed in the car and then Rich began (quickly) to leave the cemetary. Joe wispered in Sarah's ear, "It was a black, robed figure quickly stepping out from behind a gravestone." Joe then asked Rich out loud what he saw and Rich replyed with a description of a person near the gravestone, then said it was like a black figure. He said the figure was moving toward the car.
After several miles of driving, Jake said he felt a presence which called out (without literal speech) with , "why are you here?" right at the moment he went back to the car as Rich and Joe went to approach the crypt. He then recounted that he reached out to the presence, assuring that we were there to visit and meant no harm or misdeed.
The group returned to Burrillville, and Joe (pregressively more disturbed by the events) urged Rich to draw what he saw. So at the cars, in a parking lot, Joe walked far into the distance while Rich sketched what he had seen and described it to Kyle, Sarah, and Rich. He said that the figure was stepping out with its right like as if to pick up speed in the direction of the car. He then added as an afterthought that its right arm was definitly sticking out in the same direction.
They then called Joe over and didn't let him see the first drawing. He then sketched out a black figure with a gravestone in front of it. He sketched the arm sticking out in front of it and its right leg. The three others looked on in disbeleif, and when asked what arm was forward, Joe replyed, "The right arm."

ONE HELL OF A WEEKEND! Friday April 1- Sunday April 3 2005
So here I am, well rested on 4 hours of sleep in the past 3 days... or was it one day with a nap somewhere in there? I'm not entirely sure.
Friday morning, 8:45am.... I woke up in time for programming, that was an amazing feat, I thought I had completely lost this ability. After that lovely class I took a physics exam and then a calc quiz. I was then forced to wait until 2 before sitting for another hour to get an assignment for engineering... BAH
Finally the fun began...
So after that I brought my neighbor Scott to the bus station where we were able to get a wireless network signal with his laptop.... on the sidewalk. Haha, it was rather entertaining. I also found him to have "The City" by LGLF stuck in his head, that made me happy. So He hopped the bus and I went back and sat in me dorm.
As boredom set in and I realized that the weekend was going nowhere fast, I began to rally support for a unique goal: random road trip. By 9pm friday, myself and two of my neighbors, Jan and Andrew, we on the road and headed for Deleware. And lemme tell you sir or madame, that the New Jersy Turnpike is not for anyone who values their existance as opposed to being sucked into the twighlight zone for no reason.

By 4:30am saturday we get to Jan's house and creep in the door. Lo and Behold his father is sleeping on the couch, and after some gruff movements realizeses that his son and two of his friends had driven 400 miles in the middle of the night for no reason. After reading some oldschool engineering books I feel asleep for about 4 hours, and woke up to a breakfast of fried Scrapple. In case you were wondering, scrapple is every meat byproduct you can think of processed into a cube with corn meal and spices. Quite good, in its own way, and so I downed those pretty well. We then proceeded to explore an abandoned military base for no reason.... in the pouring rain. Afterwards, we turned around and drove another 7 hours home. It was a deluge the entire way home. It poured and rained ceaselessly.
That trip was a full 24 hours, however I had 3 shots of espresso near the end. So after telling Michelle that I had passed through New York City, so was appalled that I didn't visit her. So I was talkin to my buddy Chris who was in Rhode Island at the time and got him to come up to Springfeild. By the time he got here it was 3:30am sunday (woulda been 2:30 were it not for daylight savings time) and we set off for new york city. We got into the city at about 7am and found Michelles apartment without too much trouble. She treated us to breakfast and cocoa and whatnot and it was a very quaint affair. So we spent a little while with her, until about 10:30am and we set out again. As I got back to my car....
BAM!!!!
A parking ticket. Because we were parked in lower manhattan, an expired meter means $65. Yea bullshnitz! I'm debating whether or not to pay it, honestly. So we drove back and after a few misshaps of stomach acheness and near falling asleep we made it.
Did I mention that Chris was supposed to be in Rhode Island for noon? Ouch, sorry guys.
So, it's now 2:41pm sunday and since friday I've gotten a total of... count em, 4 hours of sleep. What to do now? meh.
