Archie Andrews is your typical All-American teenager who seems to attract the ladies with his red hair, his average sense of humour and his keen personality, albeit a little clumsiness now and again.

While Archie can get, and has dated every girl that attends Riverdale High, the two that he seems to go after the most are Betty Cooper, the girl-next door and Veronica Lodge, the sassy, rich fashion queen. And, quite often, dates with both of these women turn out to be either a dream or a disaster!

Archie first appeared in Pep #22, December 1941 edition.

In Little Archie, he owns a dog named Spotty, and in the New Archies, his dog is named Red.

Archie has dated other girls besides Betty and Veronica, including Cheryl Blossom, Ethel Muggs, even Midge Klump!!!

In the very first Archie story, Archie wanted to be referred to as "Chick".

Archie's parents are named Fred and Mary Andrews.

Archie has had the same checkerboard pattern on his head since the very beginning.

Archie's hobbies include sports, cars, video games, and of course, GIRLS!

Archie has worked various jobs, including supermarket bag boy, waiter, mall food court, golf caddy, camp counselor and perhaps his most memorable job, as a salesperson at Bumley's Department Store.

Archie plays the guitar and sings lead vocals for the Archies.
