Arches

You start by tossing the first ball in a low arch. The second ball you throw over the top in medium sized arches. And the third ball you throw over the top with large size arches. This is a really cool patern, but all it really is, is a distoreted three ball cascade.

Arm Bounce

This is kind of a two in on hand move. While juggling let the ball in the air bounce off the side of your arm back to the hand that threw it. You can do this once or do it several times. You should be able to get this one the first time you try.

Ball on String

This is another two in one hand. Start by doing two in one hand and with the other hand you keep a hold of the ball and raise your hand in time with one of the ball your other hand is throwing. If you do this right it will look like the in the two in one is attached by a stick or string to the ball in the hand you are raising. Remeber the key to this trick is to keep the ball you are holding at the same height and the same distance away from the ball that is thrown.

Behind the Back

Practice with one ball so that you can get the feel of throwing it behind your back. The ball should travel up and over the opposite shoulder. Practice tossing behind the back with both hands. Now get your other two balls and start juggling a large cascade (a large cascade you throw the balls higher). Then you choose a ball and carry it behind your back and toss it over your shoulder. Then bring your hand back and catch the incoming ball. At first you probably won't be able to get your hand back in time to catch the incoming ball. Just keep practicing it and it will become easier, you can also throw your cascade higher to give you more time, but once you can do it you will want to bring your cascade down to normal so that the move is smooth and flowing.

Clawed Cascade

A claw is when you catch a ball with your palm facing downward. You come down on top of the ball and swipe it out of the air. Juggle the cascade and practice clawing with one hand at a time then practice doing continuous claw catches with both hands.

Eating an Apple

This is a fairly simple trick. There is a couple of different ways to do this. One is to start juggling a cascade and then just quickly bring the apple up and take a bit. This is what people normally think of when this trick is mentioned, but it does require a lot of speed.

There is a second option that will require less speed. Before you take a bit go into a two-in-one hand. Don't stay in a two-in-one hand for too long or it will make it look too easy.

Foot Kick

Here is one for those of you who hacky-sack. While juggling let one ball fall so that you can kick it back up(if your really good you can do some fancy hacky-sack move before you kick it back up). This may take a little bit to learn because you have to hit the ball with just the right part of the foot or you won't be able to catch it.

Fork Catch

This is a move that you can use to pause your juggling. While you are juggling toss one ball a just a little bit higher than normal. Then make a "V" with your middle finger and pointer finger and curl them backwards as far as possible. This makes a little place for you to catch the ball in. As you are catching the ball absorb the shock.

Kick-up

This is just to keep your self from getting a sore back from having to bend over and pick up your droped balls. When you drop a ball use one foot to roll it up onto the other foot. Now pull up towards your chest and make sure that your foot goes straight up(if your does anything but go straight up then the ball will most likely fly out of reach) then you can either just catch the ball or go right into juggling. When you first try to do this it will feel awkward but after a while it will start to feel more natural.

Knee Bounce

This is almost the same as the arm bounce. While you are juggling let one ball drop and bounce it over to your other hand with your knee. You should also be able to get this the first time you try it.

Spiral

Every ball is thrown from the same side in a circular patern. The patern kind of looks like the shower, but your hands are doing different things. Some people call this the "false shower" because it looks like the shower but isn't. You throw on one side, and catch it on the other. As long as you are doing this, you have it right.

The Flash

A flash is when all the balls are thrown quickly and are all in the air at once.

Under the Leg

As you juggle the cascade you raise your leg and throw the ball under the leg. You may want to practice throwing under the leg with one ball to get the hang of it.

1 Up 2 Up

This a 2 in one hand trick so you should have the two in one hand down pretty good before you work on this trick. You start by throwing one up the middle then before you catch it throw the balls from the left and right hand straight up on either side then catch the middle ball. Next you throw the one ball back up the middle then catch the two on either side. Usually one takes care of two balls and the other hand just tosses its ball up and catches it. Then just keep repeating the pattern and you have 1 up 2 up.

1 Up 2 Up Cross

This is the same as the 1 up 2 up except you don't throw the two up the side, you throw the two over the top to the opposite hand. At first you will have to make adjustment to your throws because the balls collide(throwing one higher than the other should work).
