Coconut Cream Pie

2 cups of milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons flour
3 eggs
10 drops yellow food coloring
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tub whip topping

Bake 1, 9 inch pie shell. Beat together eggs, sugar, salt, flour. Add milk, cook over low, to medium heat until thick add to cooked pudding vanilla, yellow food coloring and 6 oz. of coconut, mix together. Pour in pie shell, when pie is cooled put whipped topping on top of pie and sprinkle with coconut. Optional: Brown coconut in oven and sprinkle on top.

HINT! Coconut burns easy so keep a very close eye on coconut while browning.
