Breakfast Casserole

1 1/2 loaves cinnamon swirl bread, cubed
8 oz. cream cheese
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
6 T. melted butter
8 eggs, beaten

Line bottom of greased 9 x 13 " baking dish with 1/2 of the cubed bread. Take chunks of the cream cheese and spread evenly over the bread. Put the rest of the bread cubes on the top. Pour melted butter over bread. Mix milk and syrup and pour over bread. Then pour beaten eggs over complete mixture. Cover and let soak overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Note: cinnamon and sugar can be sprinkled on top to add flavor. Serves 10 Serve with warmed syrup. This is delicious!!! My grandkids love it.
