Respite/Child Care For Infants And Toddlers With Special Needs
Hi, My name is Melissa, I currently work as an early intervention special with children who have special needs from birth to three years of age. I have a lot of experience working with children and adults with special needs. Since I was very young I have done volunteer work with person with special needs, including sports such as baseball, soccer and swimming.  Also through Special Olympics, summer programs and the Star Fire Council of Greater Cincinnati.  I have a younger sister with Down syndrome.  She and I have done a lot of things over the years, a lot of my experience comes from her and doing activities with her.  Also meeting families in activities/programs that she is involved in.  In December of 2001 my brother and sister-in-law had a son born with Down syndrome.
I also have a bachelors degree in Science of education with certifications in special education MH/DH k-12, early childhood education and early intervention. I have worked in the public school system as a MH/DH teacher and as I said earlier am currently an early intervention specialist. I am currently working with 4c's to be certified by them and can accept Family Resources vouchers.
I am offering evening/weekend daycare/respite care for infants and toddlers with special needs in my Mt.Carmel (Eastgate), Ohio home. If you are interested in more informaion please email me [email protected] or call me at 528-1355
