Abner Lester
was one of the Early Pioneers of Fincastle County, VA. He
received land by grant and settled in Montgomery County,
Virginia. Abner served in the Revolutionary War.
Revolutionary War
Service: Captain Daniel Triggs Company.
He was swon in on 9 Sept 1777.
Prior to 1801, the family movd
to Russell County, VA and settled for a few years. Around
1809 he moved to Floyd County, Kentucky and later sodl his
Russell County property.
