| It was such a tragedy for this mans life to take the path it did.He was so gifted and talented and really only wanted to be left alone to enjoy the life he had.Fame destroyed him..It came too fast and he was totally overwhelmed by it. There has never and will never be again anyone with a voice or talent like his. |
| Like so many teenagers,I fell in love with this wild,gyrating young man and never fell back out. He was one in a million. I was fortunate enough to get to see him in person during the '70s in concert in Amarillo,Texas. Something I relive often in my mind. The charisma he had radiated off that stage and drew you in like a magnet. |
