A very close friend of my family and member of the Kew Gardens Hills community was just diagnosed with a large brain tumor that, B"H, the doctors believe is benign. She is scheduled for emergency neurosurgery at NYU on Monday morning at 9:00 am. The surgery is expected to last approx. 6-8 hours.

The patient and her family are themselves involved in many Tzedakah and community causes. Her sons have asked that I pass on her name to as many people as possible. Please say Tehillim and give Tzedakah for Frieda bas Feiga Rivka, especially during the next few critical days. Also, please pass this on to as many of your friends as possible.

At this time, the family does not want to make their name known, as there are many elderly family members that have not been informed of the situation yet.

May Hashem grant her a Refuah Shelaima and many long healthy years Ad Meah V'esrim Shana.
