From the TENNESSEE RIVER in the north to MOBILE BAY, ALABAMA has something to offer EVERYONE. I've lived here all my life and I wouldn't trade it for any other State! Now, that's not to say I don't like to visit other States! I just find the atmosphere tolerable. You might have to be from the SOUTH to understand that word....it just means it's pleasant around here. It's not anything like the movies portray it. WHY, WE EVEN HAVE A SKI RESORT...I didn't know that until I was...OLDER...let's say. It's in MENTONE, AL, way up in the northeastern corner, just below Lookout Mountain. We've got mountains, lakes and seashore, WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE!
