MEET PENNY POOCH
Hi kids, my name is Penny Pooch. I hope you like dogs, cause I'm a really big dog.
Don't be afraid, I don't bite, and I promise not to jump up on you! My people think I'm great and they love me, and
I love them too!
I live in a big fenced yard, and I have my very own doghouse. See, it's big just like me!! My people take good care of me; they give me lots of food and water. They take me for a walk everyday; I have to wear a leash, I don't like it at all but that's the only way I get to take a walk.
One day when we went for a walk, I slipped out of my leash, boy what trouble I got into that day!! When I got off my leash, I started to run really fast, and I met the biggest gray cat in the world! His name was "Booty", and he dared me to catch him! Well.....! I knew that I could catch him!! So off we went on the longest, fastest chase ever. OH what fun! I was almost ready to pounce on him, when my people caught up with me! Boy, were they ever mad, they told me I was a very bad dog, and I'm not allowed to chase cats anymore. Gosh, "Booty" and I were only having some fun!
Hey! Do you like bones? Oh I love big juicy bones! Sometimes I like to bury my bones. If I show you where, you won't tell anyone will you? It can be our secret!
I have to dig a hole to bury my bones, and my people get upset when I dig in my yard. But you need a nice big hole to bury a bone! I always get into trouble!
One time I was going to bury my bone, and I dug my hole right up next to the fence. I was having so much fun, that I kept on digging! Before I knew it, I had dug a hole so deep, and large; that I could get under my fence! But that's another story, come back tomorrow and I will tell you about my great escape!
Right now it's nap time, and I REALLY like my naps! Do you take a nap everyday? I take as many as I can! Well, my eyes are very heavy, so I better lay down now. Bye!
