MY BLACK CUTIE
We had our first litter of puppies and I was in love with all seven of them, I had two or three picked out that I was sure I had to keep. And Roger had seven that he just knew needed new homes!
It just blew my mind that my red Lady and chocolate Prozac had made black puppies, all but one that was a black and white parti dog.
We took this argument to the bitter end! And one by one my little babies were being adopted! Until we were down to two puppies, and the more I had them the more I wanted to keep them! And on top of all this we were going to move and would not have the big yard for another dog, oh what was I going to do?
Soon we were down to one puppy, and I had given up on getting to keep any of them, when out of the blue, Roger, of all people, told me that he just couldn't part with the last little one. He told me that she had the sweetest breath, and was just so precious!
Well, I was really a happy person when he said we would have to keep her! She was solid black except for a white mark going down her chest. And comming up with her name was easy, he said she was precious, and by golly she was.
