Mom and Dad

He's Dad and she's Mom.

(LOL!! Long-running family joke from an episode of the Dick Van Dyke Show.)

My mom liked lavender and pink the best, and she loved cards and flowers.

This photo, although never actually "taken," was one of Mom's favorite pictures.

A memory of a great trip to Hawaii in 1976, this picture was originally two.  

One photograph of Mom with a male Hawaiian dancer

and one of Dad with a female Hawaiian dancer.  

(THAT is why Dad's hand is in his pocket isntead of around Mom!)  

My dad passed away in 1991 and my mom passed away just this last March, but

thanks to my friend Erick of Graphics by Erick,

it's now cherished photo of both of them that I have hanging on the wall.

She was helping me with my genealogy research--

by pointing out Who's Who in our old family photos.

We're part Cherokee, German,  Scottish, Welsh and lots more!
