Welcome to Justin's Programming Site. Here you will be able to find about about what projects I am currently working on, as well as projects and assessments for my course at Victoria University.
This site will have source code of many of the projects i'm working on such as code for ASP.NET, Visual Basic.NET, SQL, JAVA, ADO.NET.
Other than the programming languages I am using @ the moment, you can find heaps of information such as tips, tweaks and general information on Windows and Linux.
I am always comming across new programming languages which I have never used before, and most of the time, I will become fascinated with it for some time, so you can expect to see various information on different languages from time to time. Languages which have captured me before include:
- Perl
- Python
- FORTRAN (never used, just interesting)
- C/C++

Recently I have been doing some work on creating RSS feeds, and have finally worked out how to encode my own RSS feeds instead of using a weblogging site to do them for me (now I can write my own YES!!). You can now subscribe to my site's RSS feed using the feed link at the bottom of the navigation pane, or alternatively right at the top of the page @ the welcome location.
I've been trying to figure out RSS for quite sometime now, but finally figured it out! RSS is cool.

I have finished writing my second computer & technology article entitled "Open Source Databases - A peak into the open source community" and is avaliable for viewing in the articles section of the site.

I haven't posted anything on my site in a little while, & for that I apoligize as I have been quite busy working on some new material for the site, as well as mountains of schoolwork which needed to be done. I recently started a new weblog @ http://justinb.tblog.com/, however I am not really using it for my news posts anymore. This site is still my main hub for my Programming and tech news.

I have uploaded my "Migrating from Windows to Linux" Complete guide to my site for you guys to check out. I wrote this guide as I was recieving many emails and verbal requests for a document such as this becuase many people were either having troubles installing Linux for the 1st time or did not quite understand filesystems, etc.

I have now begun writing new articles on technology, computer programming languages, gamming on ALL platforms, anything that people find interesting about computing, gaming or technology, i'll surely be covering it in a weekly article posted here on Justin's Programming Site.
