German Judo sensation Timo challenged NCIJA members to a day of endless matches on Saturday, August 16th on the NCIJA mats at 212 Windover Park Drive in Rochelle.  Timo plays about 66 kilograms (145 lbs) and was looking for fresh meat in Rochelle!
The workout started that Saturday around 3:00 PM and lasted until 5:00 PM.  Everyone survived - and a good time was had by all!  Thanks Timo and the Hanson family for giving us a chance to have fun with our favorite pass-time!  You gotta do it to understand!

Rod was a critical member in our three man tag team against Timo!

Kodiak, Alaska is a great place to visit - and  I did a couple of weeks ago on a job interview.
I found July in Alaska MUCH warmer than last December!
Kodiak, Alaska is a friendly small town like Rochelle.  Fishing from the ocean is the main occupation.  The land and native species make Kodiak truly special!
20 pound crabs & 1,300 pound bears make life interesting in Kodiak!
Stay tuned for information on the NCIJA's 50th Anniversary!
