| The Club History Senior Club Coach John Watt learned Judo at the Glasgow Fire Service Judo Club who trained at the North-West Fire Station in Hotspur St, Maryhill under the Instruction of Coaches (The Late) Station Officer: Walter Littlejohn 3rd Dan and his Father Station Officer: Andrew (Andy) Watt 1st Dan (Retired). The Club produced both junior and senior champions at local and national level. The Club then moved to Garnethill School and was renamed Glasgow Judo Club In 1988 Mr. Littlejohn encoraged John to go for his BJA Level 2 Club Coach Award, this he did at the University of Aberdeen. |
