Many students from our program have found health care to be a rewarding career.  This experience has motivated them to pursue careers in many health care fields: nursing, xray technology, physician assistant, physician, chiropractor, massage therapy, physical or occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, surgical technician, dietetics, medical assistant, pharmacist, respiratory therapist, EMT or Paramedic, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine, phlebotomy, medical technology, EKG or EEG technician, etc.

Many of these health fields require a certain number of hours of direct patient care prior to admission to their respective programs.  Comstock Community Education Nurse Aide Training helps meet the needs of students to obtain employment in direct patient care prior to their acceptance into these training programs.
