Without all of you my friends, I do not know where I would be today,
I have stumbled and I have fallen--but you were beside me every step of the way,
There were times I wanted to give up--I could not go on,
So many times you took my hand and let me know I was not alone,
You laughed with me, you cried with me, you encouraged me,
You were always there though sometimes I could not see,
When life hurt me, you felt the pain too,
When I was confused and scared and didn't know what to do,
You walked beside me, guiding me through,
You have put aside your own problems to help me with mine,
When others abandoned me you were not hard to find,
Some of you, I have never heard your voice nor seen your face,
But in my heart you hold a very special place,
Your friendship is a rare and precious gift with no way to measure,
So my friends I want to thank you for always being there for me, each of you are a treasure.
