Icast.com Rickys Erotic Side 9/27/00
Kristie L. LaPierre

Once again, Ricky Martin explores erotic regions in his new single "She Bangs," and the companion video is anything but dull. The video is an underwater paradise, overflowing with sexual innuendoes and erotic choreography. Crystal cages and blatant nudity are just some of the highlights of this new production. With allusions to oral sex and other erotic pleasures, this will definitely be his most controversial video to date. But what else would you expect from the "Bon Bon" shaker?
The production took place at the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas, directed by none other than Wayne Isham, who also directed Ricky's most popular videos: "Livin la Vida Loca" and "La Copa de la Vida."
"She Bangs" is part of Ricky's latest compilation that'll be released worldwide on November 14, 2000. He has yet to reveal the title, but promises a combination of blues and tango, an international mix to serve both his audiences.

Very clearly, their anticipation has been well satisfied with "She Bangs" achieving such brilliant results in less than a week. New Zealand Sunday Telegraph Latin Hunk With A Heart 8/27/00
By Kathy McCabe

Sydney's homeless will benefit from Latin heart-throb Ricky Martin's civic-mindedness during his upcoming Australian tour.
Martin has proved to be less demanding and more politically correct than many stars in his personal requests to the promoters of his national tour.
Alcohol is banned backstage, recycling bins must be provided and leftover food given to homeless shelters during his October visit.
Martin, who will also be a guest presenter at the ARIA awards, will release a limited number of prime seats tomorrow for his Sydney shows.
The new seats became available after his production team inspected the venue last week and modified the staging and seating configuration.
The Martin touring monster includes an entourage of 100 personnel and 18 semi-trailers of equipment. Australian fans will be among the first in the world to hear Martin's new single "Shebang", and his album when it is released here in October.
Written by his long-time collaborator, Robi Rosa and hitmakers Desmond Child and Walter A, the song marks a departure from his trademark Latin rhythms to a "big band" sound.
