Happy Canada Day!!!
This is a map of Canada...it was lacking a marking of the most important place in Canada...my hometown...so I added it, I hope I put it in the right spot!
Below are some pictures of the things I love best about being a Canadian...
Drink what you are...
In the summer we like to shave our beavers...
I can go to the doctor for FREE whenever I want...or to the hospital for a hangnail if I so desire...
Hey!
I am not a lumberjack or a fur trader,
I don't live in an igloo, or eat blubber, or own a dog sled
And I don't know Jimmy or Sally or Suzie from Canada
Although I am sure certain they are really, really nice.
I have a Prime Minister not a President.
I speak English and French, not American.
And I pronounce it about, not aboot.
I can proudly sew my countries flag on my packpack.
I believe in peace keeping, not policing.
Diversity! Not assimilation.
And that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal!
A toque is a hat
A chesterfield is a couch
And it is pronounced Zed! not Zee, Zed!
Canada is the second largest landmass
the first nation of hockey
and the best part of North America
My name is Judi!
And
I am Canadian!
