About Me I've been into beading for about a dozen years now, starting off making FIMO beads, thanks to the wonderful book, The New Clay by Nan Roche. Bead-making naturally led to bead stringing, first the FIMO beads alone and gradually adding glass beads. Then, thanks to classes at a local beadshop, I got interested in needleweaving, peyote stitch in particular. Over the years I've sampled other stitches, done a bit of loom work and took a wonderful workshop from Helen Banes mixing beads and fibers to create needlewoven necklaces. For the last few years I've worked primarily with bead embroidery and sculpture and occassionally give classes.
